"Had really high hopes for this property as the Crowne was right around the corner but I wanted something locally owned and with more character. Everything was just as I imagined except for the staff. We asked for some printing to be done and granted it was quite more than they are probably used to, but it was done without first informing us of the price and then all of a sudden we were slapped with a bill for 35pounds! Again, wouldn't have minded IF they had asked us first but they didn't...

"Just had a great one night stay at the Belmont. The room was very clean and comfortable, as was the whole building. The kitchenette had everthing we needed and everything was in excellent condition. The pre-arrival information was comprehensive and was provided in a very friendly and welcoming way. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place, or to book again ourselves. "A good stay as always, some areas where very hot as heating was on but we were able to switch this off in our room. We had a fire alarm go off on Friday evening but staff were prompt to evacuate and well organized. "
