"Parking was great staff and hotel lovely bed was very comfy Shower wasn’t that hot I would have liked to have been able to turn it up more and the lighting in the room was absolutely awful literally couldn’t see to put my makeup on why these major hotels don’t put good lighting in I will never know "

"We upgraded at reception to a suite and had a nice sized room. Clean but maybe a little dated now. The bed was very comfy though and very quiet. Everything we needed in the room as well. The staff were brilliant and looked after bags etc before and after check in. A really nice stay for our Stendo weekend. Thank you. "

"The hotel was generally nice enough, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant overall atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the stay was enjoyable in many ways. However, the communal toilets in the bar area were disappointing, as they were not very clean and some of the taps were not working, which let the standard down. It was also frustrating that the bar closed to residents quite early, limiting the chance to relax later in the evening. Overall, an acceptable stay, but a few improvements would make a big difference."

"Clean modern room. Decent size. Breakfast was average.... average quality products, powdered eggs. Parking is the only issue. 5 minute walk and not cheap at £28 overnight. Not the hotels fault for that but youd think in this modern era they'd negotiate a better rate."

"The breakfast was lovely although several times staff had to be told when breakfast items ran out. The restaurant in the evening was disappointing however, the meal I ordered (lasagne)had to be sent back as it was cold in the middle when it arrived. We were and remained the only seated customers all night. When my meal was returned to me, now piping hot, it was the same plate I had sent away. In effect, my food was reheated twice. Other than breakfast, we will not have any other meal in there again and will not be recommending the restaurant to any one."

"Lovely hotel with a fun bar area downstairs, and it’s a dog friendly hotel! The room was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds."

"This hotel is amazing. We’ve been coming here as a family of 4 for over 7 years and every time it’s great. We’ve especially come for the pool and breakfast which are both excellent. I’d like to highlight the exemplary breakfast staff who do their upmost to make sure it’s special. Special hot chocolate? No problem. Special hot muffins? No problem. We use the family sized rooms and they’re great for a family of 4 with 2 big kids."
