"This is an extraordinary place, beautifully nestled at the top of a narrow tree-lined road, designed to blend into the landscape. It's high, and the view of the sea is grand. Well appointed, with a salt-water pool and very nice communal areas. We stayed only one night, a stopover between Kona airport and the drive to Hilo. "This was our second time staying at the Kona Castle Reef . This oceanfront unit was comfortable, tidy and an excellent layout. Some of the lighting fixtures seemed dated and Could use replacement . Having the bbq’s there as an alternative cooking option was fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again next year and hopefully secure the same unit as we did this time ."
