"I really enjoyed my stay. Staff was helpful and southerly pleasant. You can tell theyโve tried to update the property with nice outdoor seating, and plantings. The location is great being right next to downtown Highlands, but just far enough away to where you feel like youโre in the woods. One thing that needs to change is the shower wall grout had a lot of mold or mold, stains, and the carpet smelled like feet or mold. They had obviously cleaned the carpets, but not dried them well. Highlands is in a rainforest and they need to accommodate the wetness better."

"The coffee was great. Room and bed were comfortable. A bathroom room vent would help decrease humidity in room. Doors and windows on balconies need a fresh coat of paint. Itโs in a great location, good continental breakfast during week and some hot items on weekends. Staff is friendly. We will stay again when we come for a concert at Anderson Music Hall."

"I often travel to north Georgia for gigs in various wedding venues in the area. The one consistent part of my travel is the hotel. I have been traveling for over 20 years to this area and I always stay here. While situated near the main road, the noise I normally experience at other hotels is absent here. As well as the noise of other visitors, minimal."
