"The food was really very good and the staff were lovely. "

"We arrived after an early morning International flight and were very lucky to be allowed to leave our bags. Note: the reception says 6am to 9pm but requires the use of an intercom and dependant on a staff member being present elsewhere in the building to answer you. The room was comfortable with linen, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery etc provided. Also containers of hand wash, body wash and shampoo/conditioner. These had not been refilled prior to our 7 night stay so we ran out. The comforter on the bed was stained with three large yellow stains so that was shifted to the floor. We could not get a connection to the internet. It would connect and then drop off so we gave up after the second night. The room could have been cleaner but was OK. The outside covered in terrace, however, had spider web and nasty flies that bit/stung and was very dirty. Not enjoyable to sit outside and enjoy the late afternoon sun. The jewel was the swimming pool. Beautiful, long, deepish and CLEAN. The sauna in the pool area was also a nice way to relax after a busy day. Good transport options to Melbourne Cioty with a bus Interchange across the road at Knox Shopping centre which takes you to Bayswater or Belgrave Trains or Vermont South for the Tram into the city Knox Shopping Centre has all you need plus many extras. Great place to shop, dine, drink, watch movies, banks etc"

"We had a great stay here. The staff were excellent and so helpful. The location was great. Right next to a huge shopping centre and next to the station so really easy to get in to Central Melbourne and all surrounding areas. Would definitely stay again. "

"Hotel is heritage listed building and is exquisitely decorated with antiques and decor true to its era. We were looking for a place to stay for a family celebration, where we could have dinner and stay the night without travelling anywhere and booked elenors restaurant as well as 4 rooms. Two weeks before our stay they closed the restaurant and cancelled our booking, which meant we had to drive to a nearby restaurant for dinner. It was disappointing and no real reason was given. It took 2 phone calls (via AI answering service) to find out any information. We found the whole hotel is very light on for staff, the pool is in total disrepair which lead us to believe there are budget issues and cost cutting. The rooms are very large and lovely but the air-conditioning is not fit for purpose. We slept with the balcony doors open at night to cool the room down and it was below 30.degrees during the day. Overall it's a lovely historic property but in need of some TLC and additional real life (not AI) staff."

"The room was great, spacious and the balcony and view were great. Water presure to the spa bath was very weak, which was surprising as the shower pressure was great.(strange..) Otherwise our stay was great and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, or recommend to friends."

"Booked a room that stated it had 2 Queen beds however it only had 2 double beds. I checked with the man in reception who was not very friendly and probably in the wrong job and was told that was the right room. Beds were 138cm wide so definitely just standard double beds. Our room was up some rickety old stairs that I wasn't sure were going to be there in the morning. The whole place is in desperate need of a makeover as everything is just old and rundown. If you stay here and want to relax and watch some TV make sure you bring some DVDs. The TV is just a cheap Kogan model and is not a smart TV so you can't watch any streaming services."

"We enjoyed an overnight stay at Healesville Apartments. WOW, what a find!!! So clean and comfortable and an easy walk to town. Really appreciated the extra supplies, Gaylene is a very thoughtful host. We won’t stay anywhere else and I’m looking forward to returning soon. Thanks again for being a hosting us."
