We really enjoyed our stay here at the castle. The amenities were wonderful, the room was very comfortable, and all the facilities at this location were wonderful. We also enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee at the basement café. We did want to mention to the maintenance crew that the armoire in our room, where the robes were stored, had a very strong smell of spray paint. We would recommend that either the room be left open to fresh air with those doors of the armoire open. Or maybe to take the whole armoire outside and let it air out.

Everything about my stay was amazing. The suite I stayed in was filled with fantastic authentic furniture, it was pristinely clean without being sterile. There was so much character and fantasy in the property, birds singing and water birds swimming around the moat, truly refreshing. I spent quite a while in the wine caves sipping rose champagne, and enjoyed a wonderful meal at the restaurant (cheese cart!). I’ve made amazing and enduring memories and would return in a heart beat. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

Kasteel TerWorm is a perfect get away to enjoy a time long forgotten. Extremely beautiful grounds, garden, and walking/cycling paths.

Slept beautifully in an amazing 1400’s castle with a moat. This is a boutique hotel with incredible surroundings and fabulous service. We loved Damiano, our 19 year old bar tender and Denise’s wonderful breakfast energy.

Being an old castle, the hotel is full of character and very pleasing. Car park is a couple of hundred yards away from rooms & ground is a bit uneven, you can get wet loading/unloading luggage, Rooms beautiful but as lighting is "Character-full" my wife often needed to use the torch from my car to see to the back of shelves & drawers. Lastly, a complaint my wife often has, why was there no full-length mirror in the bedroom she could use before going out in the evening?

Great stay
A very nice hotel in a great area. The room was nice and spacious. It was clean excepts for the dust underneath the bed. The breakfast was delicious.

Hot but gorgeous
No AC in the room so I opened window but took a very long time to cool off. So I did not get much sleep because I was sweating. They should at least have a fan in the room. The scenery was gorgeous and if you are looking for a quiet place to rest I highly recommend it. And the garden in the back is like something out of a movie. Very beautiful place.

The room was very large, we were upgraded to a senior suite. The bathroom had a soaking tub and a shower with a door. The restaurant was amazing!

Romantic Castle
Very pretty castle with lovely rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately there wasn't any rooms available inside the castle and we stayed in the rooms outside but it was still a lovely experience.

Romantic Castle ,overpriced ,short on choice menu
Clearly this romantic Castle and eager and friendly staff deserve better Management. Lovely setting , immaculate kept , grounds , very clean. BUT : A king size bed is two beds put together so you end up in a dip. Supplies of things like tea and sugar is meagre. Restaurant severely overprized for the little that's offered. So all up not more than 3 stars...

Very friendly and accomodative staff. Received room upgrade, excellent restaurant. Was able to change rooms at no extra cost due to some utity fan noice from hotel attic. Secluded historic location and great private outside parking space.

Nothing like staying in a castle
This is the coolest place I've ever stayed. What a unique property. Like many European hotels, I only have one complaint. No air conditioning. Still trying to figure that one out. Other than that, it's a castle. How cool is that? The room was great. The breakfast was great. The atmosphere is priceless. Can't wait to go back. Maybe the more expensive rooms have AC.

What a great find!
A castle, a moat, set in a beautiful rural setting but minutes from the town, what more could you ask for? The staff were attentive and professional, the atmosphere charming and the accommodation spacious and opulent. The terrace set alongside the duck-filled moat was a relaxing way to unwind after a long day. Bike hire was available from reception which unveiled the myriad cycle paths snaking around the local fields and into Heerlen past the University. I only wished I was there later in the year to witness the crops in full-bloom.

We plan to stay at this gem, again!
Fantastic hotel in a castle surrounded by gorgeous parks in wooded setting. Great place for a wedding! The breakfast buffet was great at 18.50 Euro, most nice breakfast buffets at hotels in Europe start at 20 Euro. Nice, very large room with living room area and large desk. The bathroom was large with big tub and separate nice shower.

The hotel(Castle) was extremely peaceful and comfortable. It was a cool experience to have such an visited a wonderfully preserved taste of the past. The restaurant was amazing along with the food.
