Even after the drop-off by the Jabal Omar shuttle bus, the hotel is not within the Haram area, and you still have to walk about 10–12 minutes to reach the Masjid. Always use Careem over normals taxis. It is much more safe and secure. Always carry a bag to the mosque with your slippers in it. Do all your shopping from proper shops/malls as oppose to street shops. Don't buy zam dam containers from shops.
