"Location and surroundings are stunning. Hotel clean and buffet breakfast was fantastic. Building and rooms/decor are showing their age . Peeling paint, worn carpets and half the hotel has been closed off/abandoned meaning no spa facilities."

The castle has been kept very authentic and would be exactly what someone would want to experience in a castle built in 1283, absolutely amazing place. Would recommend anyone to stay. "Welcoming and very easy-going staff, very clean, good warm shower and the facility is well kept overall. The surroundings are picturesque and very calm. Their restaurant is just couple of minutes away and is a gem. I highly recommend to go there for a dinner you will not regret, the food is just delicious. You will have your breakfast in the same place and the breakfast itself is a special event. Free parking with plenty of space. Great place, thank you for a nice stay. "
