"This is a great old house that has been done up beautifully and feels like you are stepping back in time. There is a lovely view out to south bank and the city from the verandahs and even though it's near the road, it is so peaceful. You can hear frogs chirping in the early evening. The white room has a detached bathroom with a lovely bath. The bed was comfy and the room spacy. There are quite a few stairs, so bear this in mind if you have heavy bags or problems walking up or down stairs....

"Nothing like what it looks in the picture. It's a dive. Place was filthy, Bathroom was filthy and plumbing leaks. Pool was filthy. Long way from Southbank. No reception. Room was unlocked with keys left in the room. Walked in and walked out...didn't stay here. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. For the same price you could stay somewhere nice that is actually in Southbank...not just cashing in on the name. It's a scam. Wotif shouldn't be selling this property. Extremely disappointed to...
