"We only stayed here for one night while in Kyoto but there were a few issues for us - you can’t control the air-conditioning - the staff has it locked - my husband messed with it for 30 minutes until we saw the note in the room - it was pretty warm in the room, so that was frustrating - it also was a bit loud because the hotel is in a busy area. However, the rest of the hotel was great. Staff was very nice and they held our extra luggage before and after checkout. Wouldn’t recommend for a long-term stay."

"Great location right in the heart of Kyoto. I gave 4 stars as the breakfast did not have many options for vegetarians and the hotel lobby was always packed with tour groups and luggage. "

We stayed for four nights and had a great time. It’s also just a few minutes from the subway, which made it easy to get around the city and visit all of the temples."
