I stayed here for a week and it was wonderfully easy. Self check in and out, onsite coin operated laundry, perfect location, large room with a kitchen, and friendly staff, though you will most likely not see them as everything runs so smoothly. The location and price cannot be beat. I will definite stay here again when I find myself in Gion Kyoto.

This place is great! Very spacious, had fridge, microwave, kitchen utensils … we got a room with a separates bedroom that had washer machine which was so convenient. Bathtub was also great. Great option for those who want more space and don’t care about having a person at the front desk all the time. Only down site is that as they don’t have staff at front desk they do not receive luggage from another property. But if you want send it out, there is a family mart right next to it that does the job. Highly recommend this place though.

Gion is an historic pricier section of Kyoto. When researching found this cool hotel that was both very modern and clean. Felt more like an apartment then a hotel room. I wanted an authentic experience of sleeping on the floor such as traditional Japanese style which was a mistake on my end as it killed my back but hey that was more on me. Hotel was GREAT and convenient so good find

Minn Gion was just a few minutes from the train and I'm such a walkable area. There is a Family Mart right next door and more restaurants than you can count in any direction out of the front door. My only complaint would be that the refrigerator wasn't cleaned thoroughly and there were remnants of food in the sink drain when we arrived. The bathroom and the rest of the room was very clean and it was spacious enough to accommodate 4 adults! I would stay again.

Good location and friendly staff. We thought the couch would pull out into a bed but it didn’t, which was the only thing that surprised us. We appreciated the coin laundry in the basement but the dryer function in the machine we used didn’t actually dry our clothes. Everything else was great, and they also provide a place to store your luggage after you check out.

This was a great home base for our family of 4 while we were in Kyoto. Not super luxurious, but clean, comfortable and very convenient. Located right in Gion. There is a FamilyMart next door and the subway station is just 4 blocks away. The hallway carpets could use some stain treatment, but other than that it was a great place to stay.

Loved the family suite. It was perfect for my husband, myself, 2 kids, and brother who were traveling. Plenty of room. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a plus, and I was able to catch up on laundry since it was the middle of our trip. Unit stayed cool with air conditioner, which was nice due to the heat in July. We arrived before check in and were able to store our luggage in their luggage room for no additional cost. It was close to an amazing coffee place as well and a family mart right next to it.

Our room was spacious and we had 4 tatami style beds that felt like we were really in Japan:) very clean bathrooms. It was next to Family Mart where we bought bfast items among others as the property didnt have its own resto. It was about 12min by foot to the river/Pontocho Alley, and about 15min to Nishiki Mrket. It was hot but the stroll was ok since we enjoyed Kyoto street charm. Proce of hotel was very reasonable. We used the laundry once - this could’ve been better, but no biggie.

Onsite self laundry and private onsen were nice. Rooms were spacious and having a kitchen was useful for our family. Great location to walk all over Gion and easy access to Sanjo train station. Hotel was renovated recently and very clean. Luggage storage and free umbrella use were nice added amentities.

The location was perfect, walking distance from key attractions. The mini apartment was very clean and functional. The kitchen had everything you need for breakfast or a light meal. Staff was present every morning and was very helpful. Definitely I would recommend it.

The location was just perfect for us! 10-15 minute walk to bars, restaurants,shops and Nishiki market. Staff was super helpful, especially Vincent, as checking in and out was done virtually and could be a bit confusing at times. Laundry facilities were appreciated! Perfect little kitchen with everything you need.

If you need space, this is the place. We enjoyed the location as well as the space that gave us ample room to relax. Walkable to everything we wanted to enjoy in the Kyoto area. Washer and dryer was really hard to understand and it took a full 24hours to do one load. Stovetop did not work, and we didn't realize that until after we bought eggs, bread, butter, etc.

Nice hotel room with a kitchen. It was very close to the Gion district and easy to access the Sanjo train station. We traveled as a family with 2 young children. The place can feel small, but Ok for a short stay.
