"Great location for visiting Kyomizu and Gion areas. Spacious apartment with a mixture of traditional and modern Japanese interior. Friendly owner but a bit difficult to communicate with he in English. The check-in and check-out procedures are done online at the front desk and seem unnecessary. The check-in time is too late at 16:00. It should start at 14:00. "

"The staff were very helpful and courteous! The rooms were clean and had good amenities. We ate at one of the hotel restaurants, Cafe Ronde, once for dinner, and once for breakfast/lunch. The food is delicious! Very nice hotel!"
