"Loved the atmosphere and location, would definitely stay here again or at another machiya holiday house location! I misunderstood about the bedding and thought that the traditional Japanese bedroom was the default, so I was slightly disappointed when I realized that the western bedroom was the one that was prepared. But that's my fault for not clarifying ahead of time, and we still found the western beds to be very comfortable. "

"What a great experience we had staying at Azuki-An. Like a place out of time, the machiya even had an incredible aromatic wood scent (Cyprus?) that filled the home. The vaulted roofs with beams carried amazing noise of the pouring rain on the night we arrived making us truly feel like we were in another world. And wow, you could Iive in that bathtub.
