"If you have younger kids this place is perfect, and great value! They had a native English speaker at check-in which avoided any confusion. The shuttle bus to our accom was great. The location is in a quiet street, yet only a 2 min walk to a subway station on a line that connects straight to Kyoto Station."

"Great Ryokan in Kyoto to get a feel for a traditional place to stay. We stayed one night with a family of four and there was a lot of space. Staff was very welcoming and helpful."

"This place was way better than I was expecting. It is large and clean and very traditional and has great amenities like a washer dryer, a great bathroom and a nice upstairs. Just my wife and rented it but it could easily comfortably hold a family of 6. The people running it ere super nice and very responsive and helpful. I plan to stay there again!"
