Very clean. The room and bathroom, although small as typical in Japan, are well designed and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Great location .I would definitely recommend but skip the breakfast.

Room are spacious which I can open 2-3 large luggage , I like the futon bed . Hotel located at a place which is less crowded, feel peaceful during night time . Room is clean , bath room without bathtubs which I like it makes the bathroom more spacious.

Hotel is very nice and self cleaning services available for laundry. However I wasn’t made aware that there isn’t a daily cleaning in the room available - which is very important for me when staying in hotels. This was quite a let down. Other than that, it was a pleasurable stay.

Great stay!

Amazing stay, and great staff. Rin helped us a lot, and she had full control 😀 Would recommend this place to future visitors of Kyoto. Also very good location, just took the train a few times (Nara, Arashiyama etc.)!

Very nice hotel ! Modern and clean! Super efficient staff! Very kind to any of our demands and careful to all our needs The rooms are of good dimensions for Japanese standards.. and not super small as in other hotels . . The area around the hotel is nice , with a lot of convenience stores and walkable to several small restaurants on the side streets The reception did also an amazing job when we arrived as we had multiple reservations and multiple rooms for all our family.

Loved my stay here. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area Gion which I loved. The restaurant was amazing and I had breakfast (which was ok) but the dinner was really good. The rooms are beautiful and normal sized for japan. The hotel itself was very very clean and quiet. The staff were always helpful kind and ready with suggestions should you need any, and every one spoke English for those who this matters to. (although I’m always ok if they don’t. I don’t believe in the English superior idea lol) I would stay here again 1000x over
