We rented this place for the 4 of us and it was very comfortable. The house was very close to the local subway station and actually located between the train tracks, which was very convenient. The experience is very Japanese: lots of sliding shoji screen doors, futons, tatami mats, narrow spaces, very steep staircase. Due to it being an older building, insulation isn’t very good and gets very cold in the winter and need heaters in all rooms. Location is not great as it is walking distance to most places.
