We booked a 5 room villa and it was a great stay. Loved the daily free spa and free shuttle to city. Less than 10 mins drive to Hoi An ancient town and the beach. Highly recommended for family!

Relaxing boutique hotel
Allamanda was a relaxing break and convenient to the yoga. The self contained studio villa was a good size and well appointed, clean and a comfy bed. The bathroom was on the back verandah with bamboo blinds for privacy. The shower was fantastic! The pool was clean but not protected from the sun and therefore too warm to enjoy. Communication was difficult as the staff had very little English. You get free shuttle bus with your booking though it finishes st 5pm which means you still need to get a taxi if you go out at night. Having said this the driver was very accommodating notwithstanding the language barrier. A one hour spa treatment was included per day in booking, services were a bit hit and miss. Definitely do not recommend the facial. the spa was located on the lotus pond which was really nice. The free laundry service was good. The breakfast was basic for the price of accommodation. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the free inclusions improved value, but the standard of services need to improve to remain competitive. We would stay again if we got a good deal.

Beautiful hotel outside the rainy season
We were unlucky to stay at the start of the rainy season. After realizing the rain was coming into our room we were moved to another villa. Although it looks good at first impressions it wasn't cleaned so well. The floors needed to be washed not just brushed. The shower and toilet are outside, so wet from rain and outside creatures that visit in the night to leave their marks. When all the bushes have grown it will be more private than at the moment. During the rainy season you will get wet as so little is really undercover. The staff try very hard and are quite charming. There isn't really a evening dining experience but that's fine when there is so much in the old town. Breakfast is lovely and freshly made. Sometimes a little rushed but that's personal.

The hotel had all the great ideas to make an amazing place but execution was terrible , low budget, and the lack of maintenance didn't help. Location: slightly in the middle of nowhere, but hoi an is quite small so it is manageable but I would never be back. Cleanliness: the dirtiest hotel I've ever been. I literally did not sleep all night. When we first checked in, we walked into the room. I found hair on the bed which I just counted as human error. Then I went to use the toilet where there were stains on the side. The "great" outdoor bathtub seemed to be made of cheap plastic material so you could see how dirty it was inside. Shortly after I used the washroom, a man who I assume is a cleaner, appeared out of nowhere to water the grasslands of our bathroom. But what if I was taking a shower? The lack of privacy is a huge problem. At this point, we were considering switching hotels. But we figured it was only one night and it couldn't get worse. We were wrong. After a night out, we got back and climbed into bed. As we were relaxing, I noticed lots of black spots. I pulled out of my flashlight and to my horror, they were bugs. I immediately jumped up and asked to change a room. The second room was worse. With stains and bugs. Service: it is sad cuz they have the heart of good service even though they barely speak English and the condition of the hotel is so poor. also the ac was not enough for their almost 40degrees weather. they said all their rooms were the same

Beautiful, peaceful resort
We stayed here for the last two days of our week in Vietnam, and it couldn't have been better; it is a lovely respite from the tourist-ey busyness of Hoi An. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and you get a free 60-minute spa service for every day that you stay. The staff do not speak the best English but will go out of their way to ensure you are happy--they sent someone off-site one night when they were out of gin to get a bottle for us.

A beautiful oasis
A natural and more traditional Vietnamese experience staying in these beautifully designed villas. I loved the bamboo and wooden furniture, the high pinched roofs, the outside bathroom. It was quiet and extremely relaxing. The kind of place you enjoy staying all day, feel far away from everything. But it's still very close to the city & beach- short bike or taxi ride. Don't expect to help yourself to a buffet breakfast, instead the chef will cook to your menu order, which was nice, but we would have preferred unlimited and more fruit for breakfast and other plant based food options for Breakfast and dinner, as this was lacking. Spa services were excellent, 1hr complimentary/day stay and located in a sweet outdoor hut over a pond. We stayed 4 nights, and would have stayed longer except the higher price tag encouraged us to book into a hotel. Highly Recommend to stay here
