"Staff was very friendly and helpful! Felt very at home despite being thousands of miles away from home. There aren’t too many restaurants or shops within walking distance, however very close to the train station which gets you to Sannomiya within 10 mins! Our room and bathroom were very neat and comfortable (the pic I uploaded is the day we left, so don’t think that’s how we walked into it the first day!). "We stayed in a room that had a silver spring onsen in the room. It had a kitchen in it as well and the pictures don't do it justice. It is huge with everything you need. The coffee maker is Espresso. They refill the capsules on request but if you have favorite capsules, bring some to enjoy. From our first contact with hotel personnel, we had an excellent experience. Very friendly, hospitable staff. We also used the hotel onsens on both the first floor and the fourth floor. All were impeccable and both the gold and silver onsens were very soothing. The onsen in the room is basically for one person at a time but plenty big enough for one person with a nice headrest designed into the marble spa tub. The hotel van is always available within a few minutes and the drivers are happy to take you anywhere in the Arima area. I recommend the ropeway. It is a BEAUTIFUL journey over the forested mountain. Not to be missed. Another bonus is the coffee/tea/juice bar in the lobb that also has delicious hot cocoa - and on the end of the bar is a freezer with small ice cream bon bons. Yum. Great place to go in the evening. It may seem that the hotel breakfast is expensive given most prices in Japan - but the breakfast is almost more than you can eat and is in the gourmet class. Definitely worth the money. Super tasty and very filling. Each person receives two large trays of various Japanese breakfast dishes. This hotel is smaller than most in the Arima area - more quiet and private."

"What an amazing experience at this place, I couldn’t recommend it more! The location up on Mount Rokko is stunning. You get beautiful nature and great views, as well as not many people up here. You really feel like you’re in nature; such a. cool stay. It’s also super easy to get to, a 1 minute walk from the cable star station. The stay itself is also amazing. The design of the place you stay in is super cool, I loved the tree house design it was awesome! The traditional Japanese lounge/café area was also really really nice! Finally the people at the front desk/lounge area were super kind! Rin was amazingly kind and made me feel super comfortable at the inn. Would recommend this to anyone, I loved it!"

"Good location. Great price for the kind of room you get. Only complaint is that you dont have a room key and you have to call the front desk every time you want to leave the room. Very weird system that I've seen in some love hotels but this one is extra weird. Never been fully locked into the room before. My rooms wifi also just randomly shut off and wouldnt turn back on. But thats probably not the hotels fault. Other than that, great bathroom with lots of space. Room has lots of space with lots of functions on the TV. Good midpoint between Kobe and Osaka with a station 3 minutes away. Staff was wonderful, cheerful, and helpful, even with my poor japanese. Check in and check out was very convenient."
