I intended to stay here just a few days, but ended up extending my trip to just shy of two weeks. The main reason was it was conveniently located near one of the rail stations, which made it easy for me to get around the country. Room was small, but that's to be expected with Hong Kong. The building feels older than I was expecting. Bed was a tad hard for my liking, but that's a personal taste. Desk in my room should be replaced, as it was wornout particle board that was swelling around the edges. This place needs a really deep clean, such as layers of dust in places in the bathroom. Despite the minor issues mentioned, I found this hotel to be "good enough" for what I needed. I appreciated having a tiny fridge in my room which I could put drinks and a small bit of food in. I was sick (and bedridden) the first few days of my stay here, the cleaning staff was nice and make sure I had plenty of tissues to blow my nose. There is a decent restaurant on the third floor, I ate there a few times and would have eaten there more but they seemed to have oddball hours (closed before dinner time??). If reasonably priced, I would stay here again in the future.
