"We checked in and were immediately surprised at how dated and inelegant it was. We decided to keep an open mind and waited for our room to be prepared, but when we were shown to our room, it was tiny with barely any room for anything but the futons in the middle of the floor. There was mold everywhere and an enormous spider in the closet of a bathroom from the moment we arrived (so house keeping must not have bothered even looking in there). "The traditional Japanese hotel is so spacious that it surprises us the minute we walked in. It has a full living area, a bedroom and a long patio that provides excellent view to the back yard. It has a private indoor hot spring tub and a private outdoor onsen. The back yard lead to hotel garden area which has all kinds of beautiful flowers and plan. Mountain is just next to the backyard. The ambience was excellent. A simple traditional Japanese breakfast was provided for free a request."

"チェックイン30分前に到着しましたが、スタッフの方に直ぐに対応していただきました。部屋は、源泉掛流し内風呂と源泉足湯テラスつきの部屋に宿泊しました。庭もきれいで、今年は幸いにも河津桜の開花が遅れており、ちょうど満開の時期に宿泊できました。 男性大浴湯は、内風呂と２つの露天風呂があり、それぞれお湯の温度が変えてあり、湯守の方の配慮だと感じました。貸切り露天風呂では、川のせせらぎも聞こえてのんびりできました。 食事は食堂個室で、おいしくいただき満足しました。料理のメインにはステーキを選択しました。ドリンクメニューで地酒飲み比べセットがありましたが、地酒で大吟醸飲み比べセットがあれば尚良かったです。 部屋の寝室ベッドはゆったりくつろげました。廊下に置かれている３種類のアロマエキスを利用できました。 お庭の散策時、一番奥の川沿いには、ホテルにより建立された温泉神社があり、温泉に対する真摯な配慮を感じました。 スタッフの方は皆様明るく丁寧に対応いただき、サービスにも満足しました。"

"あらかじめ口コミを参考にして伺ったので、施設の古さなど承知の上でしたので、さほど気になりませんでしたが、それでもそろそろ室内のリニューアルされたらいいのになあ・・という具合です。 あいにくの雨続きでせっかくのオーシャンビューを楽しめませんでしたが、晴れたらかなりの美しさだと思います。 ウェルカムおでんやかき氷、飲み物飲み放題、露天風呂、屋内プール、バーで飲み放題、卓球と、ホテル内で楽しめました。従業員の方々は口コミ通り海外の方々でしたが、不真面目な日本人よりよっぽど笑顔で、丁寧に、しっかりとしたお仕事をされていました。また機会が有れば泊まりたいです。 "

"The property is a delight. The manager, speaks excellent English, and his wife were both so friendly and helpful. The property is in a quiet location near beautiful Sotorua Beach. It is so calm and relaxing. Shimoda is a short bus or taxi ride away or a 30 minute work. There is only one restaurant within easy walking distance and it is excellent. Suggest upgrading to a room with a private outdoor bathroom. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay."

"My room was spacious and very comfortable, the ocean view was incredible (highlight of the property) Hotel has a very nice Onsen overlooking the Ocean and a food lounge that you can walk in and grab whatever you like to drink anytime. To bus stop is just a few hundred meetings so very convenient. I fully recommend. "
