Breakfast was good, room was clean. There is a lift in the building which definitely helps.

We really loved our stay at The Rutland. We had a 2 bed-room apartment in the basement with kitchen facilities. The place was very spacious & clean. As the location is excellent, with many places to eat around it, we didn’t use the cooking facilities at all. The staff were also extremely helpful with our luggage - there are no lifts in the apartment so we had to lug everything down a flight of stairs but we had help from the staff who were all very strong ladies. I would definitely choose to...

In twenty years of travel this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in!
The room was gorgeous! Beautiful decor and spotless. High ceilings. Huge room.
The service was amazing- helpful, down to earth staff.
The whole experience was perfection. Want to go back to Edinburgh just to stay in this hotel again!
Cannot recommend highly enough
