Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort

"It felt like I was at camp, but with a lot more luxury--adult camp! Our cabin was one of the more uniquely decorated rooms we've stayed in--it was kind of steampunk, with whimsical art--I think the target audience might have been younger folks, but we loved it. The room had everything we needed (AC!), and the property has a laundry room which came in handy on our long trip. The best part for us was the dining hall, they had an eclectic menu with options for meaters (steak, ribs!) and veggies/vegans, breakfasts were tasty, and they had to go bfast and lunches for people looking to get out to Yosemite fast. Staff from check-in to food were all friendly and helpful. The grounds had a community kitchen, foosball, table tennis, board games, and a spa. A fun and well equipped little resort--we will definitely stay again if in the area."

"It was a wonderful location for our trip to Yosemite, but not sure it was worth the cost. The room had an awful odor that hit you as soon as you opened the door. The fitness center was closed, one of the pools was closed, and the power went out one evening. The on-site dining was limited and overpriced."

We loved the pool, games and activities like the scavenger hunt for the kids and the s’mores night. The complimentary coffee and granola in the mornings was so lovely before heading out early to beat the summer crowds. We would highly recommend staying here."

"The room was clean, their are 2 functioning showers the outdoor showers operate at a dribble, i wish that the showers had colder water to cool down from the heat although you could jump into the pool if you wanted to. The food at the restaurant and bar next door in front of the hotel was delicious its an excellent location for hikers because its 10- 20 mins away from Yosemite driving, slept well and was very quiet..."

"Celebrated 5 years with my boyfriend at Under Canvas this last weekend and we had the best time. Neither of us are camping people so we opted for a “glamping” experience. The tent was so nice and I loved having a private bathroom and shower. We’re from the city so we were terrified of bears but we didn’t see any at the site. We shared lots of laughs about what could be causing tree branches breaking at 2 in the morning though! The staff was excellent and it was a memory we’re going to remember forever. The site had beautiful scenery and I can’t express enough how glamorous it felt being in a tent with a bed, a shower, and a bathroom. I highly recommend staying here. Such a great place!"
