"Its proximity to a major transport hub is a major plus. I could leave my large suitcase in free storage during my checkout day prior to my train departure in the late afternoon. The two staff members I met were helpful and polite. On the downside - there was a constant loud hum in the room all night. Also a regularly flashing light in a ceiling fitting above the bed."

Wonderful Ibis Styles

"Great place to stay in Brisbane’s CBD. Convenient, central, clean, very good value, pleasant staff, good facilities. Parking was available nearby and there were plenty of eating venues all around. Room was fine and had terrific river views. Well worth a visit."

"The Star prides itself for delivering excellent customer service. From the time we arrived we were welcomed by Emma at the Front desk; she is an asset to the property. Professional and personable. The GM Hotel sent us a personalized note with a complementary bottle of wine. Very impressed with the level of excellence displayed by all team members. "
