"Check in was quick as I completed pre-check in online. The property is on a quite street in the city mile. I had a junior suite which was a great choice, spacious and big bathroom with separate shower, toilet and bath, plus walk in wardrobe. Japanese toilet is a nice touch. "A really well situated, comfortable and affordable stop-over hotel, perfect for short breaks and close to lots of great areas of London. A short walk from Liverpool St station and just 4 stops to the ExCel Arena. I stay here fairly frequently to visit photo spots like Brick Lane, Spitalfields, Shoreditch, Barbican etc but it's equally as easy to get into the West End too. The staff are super friendly and helpful; the continental breakfast is okay but if you want something more fulfilling there are loads of places to eat close by. Rooms are small but comfortable so it's perfect for weekends away. I travel a fair bit and this is my go to for a short trip to London. Yes, you can over pay for a luxury 5-star Savoy type of hotel if you want to but London's expensive enough as it is, so this place is ideal for the price."

"This hotel is true to its advertising. There really are fantastic views of the Tower Bridge from both the rooms and the restaurant. It is convenient to the Tower of London and not too far from an underground station. The staff are helpful and we were very pleased with the room. Food at the upstairs restaurant was very good. No complaints - highly recommend. Good value for money"

"Very clean room but no kettle or tea / coffee facilities in the room, just chargeable coffee machine downstairs. Rooms are not soundproof so could hear the next room and outside. Staff were friendly and the room was pre-air conditioned which was fantastic after a day trip in 26 degree London heat! The bed was not super comfy and there was only one pillow each But honestly for the price it was ok ☺️ just gutted about the kettle! Love a morning hot drink in bed. Not keen getting dressed to go and get one."

"Hotel Is in a great position to view a lot of london. Clean, My only gripe is the bed did not have a ridged edge which made it very soft on the edge which was very disconcerting when you got near the edge. And the bed being against the wall is tricky to get out of when your older. We didnt go to bar or restaurant or any of the amenities , so can't comment on thise"

"Room was nice but looked bigger in pictures. The bathroom was slightly disappointing also just aesthetically. Nothing against accessible rooms as they are essential, but when you haven’t booked one it doesn’t feel as nice. We didn’t eat breakfast but did order stick n sushi as room service which was lovely and fun. Tv worked well screen casting. Would be nice to have more coffee choices"

"The rooms were spotless, the bed was so big and comfy with extra pillows if needed, loved the colour changing lights in toilet/shower room. There was loads of room and the lounge area and seating was real groovy right up my street. Staff were happy to help at all times and really nice and pleasant. Loved my stay"

"The positives are the check in staff and the rooms are lovely with a comfortable bed. However, after a 45 minute journey from central London (Piccadilly circus) I arrived back rather late to be greeted with a toilet that would not flush and wasn’t filling with water. No option to report via smart tv and it was too late to move room at nearly midnight. I was then awoke in the early hours by exuberant Hull supporters! I got up tired and hungry and went for breakfast at 9.10am. Very well mannered waiter but totally inattentive. There were around 7 tables and he told me they were very busy and under--staffed. I had to cancel at 9.50am as I had sat for 40minutes and didn’t even receive a water, my coffee or breakfast. I wasn’t the only one complaining! The level of service was not what I expected at this hotel. Thank goodness for Pret near the train station! I had hoped for a chilled morning with breakfast and a swim in the pool and reason the rooftop terrace. The pool was filthy and a number of guests were comparing about this. I am so disappointed as this was one of the reasons I booked especially as check-out is noon. I went back to my room and just checked out early. On check out the manager was apologetic. Disappointing stay in this hotel."
