Our go to place to stay whenever we’re in Istanbul (provided the rooms are not sold out). Excellent location do very close to the tram station and the major visiting sites. Their breakfast is among the best in Istanbul with so much variety. Rooms are not large as most others are due to the location but its clean. Great place to stay.

great location and friendly staff

great location which is great for tourism but accomodation is quite dated. Staff is really helpful and friendly. Breakfast lacked some more options to be served (maybe a continental breakfast option) but the terrace view is stunning, great for pictures.

This is a small boutique hotel in the Heart of Sultanamet. I loved the proximity to Sultanamet Square. Our room had an excellent view of the Blue Mosque. The staff were very welling and helpful.

The location of the hotel is just super - 10 out of 10, the rooms are clean (cleaned every day), the rooms are small but very cozy - 10, the breakfast is delicious and filling - 10, (everything is fresh and tasty), the staff is always ready to help you - order a taxi, help get to the place you are interested in and do everything to make your stay at the hotel excellent.

Anthemis Hotel is right in the centre of all the happenings. Tourist attractions, eateries, sweet shops. The staff is very attentive with lots good information. The breakfast on the scenic roof terrace also very good. This was our second stay in Anthemis in the hope more to follow.

Super location

Great location, close to majority of main attractions as well as to the tram line and restaurants and shops. A little loud in the evenings but restaurant downstairs offers good food and 20% discount for hotel guests. Highly recommended.

The location of this property is excellent if you're interested in seeing the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar, the Egyptian Bazaar, etc. All of these sites were just a short walk away. Second time we visit Istanbul and we stay again in this hotel, very convenient right across from blue mosque, 7 min walk to the GRan BAzar , lots of dinning snd shopping around . Trolley right out of the hotel. A great escape from the busy streets of Istanbul. Room was spacious enough, with basic necessities. Air-conditioner worked fantastic, which helped during the hot afternoons we chose to stay indoors. They have water dispenser and ice maker which were very very helpful. Reception was very helpful with all our requests. Breakfast was satisfactory, on the terrace with a great view of Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque. Location was excellent.

The AC was turned off, and the room was very hot. The staff provided a standing fan, which was not convenient due to its loud noise. The rooftop breakfast platter had plenty of options and had an amazing view of Istanbul city. Overall happy with the Hotel and its staff.
