Front Lobby smoke smell: Front desk personal was smoking outside the door before I stepped in and whole lobby had smoking smell inside. I did complain to the front desk personal as soon I stepped in. Elevator was dirty. Carpet in the hallways was dirty. Bathroom floor was not clean and shower floor had disgusting marks on the floor. This lead me to leave this hotel. I stayed in the room for 5 minutes and then left the hotel and went on to search for a good hotel on the foot. I spent 3 hours to find a good place because everything else was completely booked. I had very bad experience with INNTEL HOTEL and had to walk around the whole area to find one good hotel for almost 3 hours. I was totally exhausted by the time I found a good hotel but was happy that finally I found something which was better and up to my expectation. I ended up paying $250/night (this was price was for walk in customers and hotel was totally booked but they did have one corner room available) at the The Marmara Taksim (very nice and clean hotel). Please take INNTEL HOTEL off of your list. This hotel is nowhere close to any other hotels I stayed during my trip. I’ll not recommend this hotel to other travelers. I moved out right away after stepping in this hotel. This hotel was very hard to find out too. No one in the area new this hotel and google map direction was not leading to this hotel. Name of the hotel was not clearly visible. I had to spend long time to find this hotel.

I booked for a freind of mine and this is his review The property was nice and clean. End review Because i used my card to book tjis hotel for my friends didn't like that they made 2 attempts on my credit card even though i specifically chose for them to pay at the property. The first attempt was on the day i booked their stay and the second was the day of arrival ( i informed them that they'll be late to arrive) they tried to withdraw the total amount before they arrived. Thanks God they failed because i didn't transfer enough funds to my card. Both times i reached out to the property and got no response. That was extremely unprofessional and wrong

Staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is perfect if you want to stay in Taksim- 6mins away from Taksim square. Breakfast had minimal options however I enjoyed my five day stay

The hotel was so close to the main shopping town, staff are so nice and responsive to what you need.... breakfast was really nice and so many choices... highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to come to see Istanbul.

Great Hotel
We went there for a 3 night stay. Hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from Istiklal street which was the focus of our trip. Room service was on point. Front desk staff were always cheerful and serve with a happy smile. Breakfast was good and tasty.

I had a short visit to Istanbul. The receptionist in the hotel was very friendly, polite and helpful and he told me some places I must see in Istanbul.

Bad hotel, I highly don't recommend it.
When I arrived for the check in. They told me the room is not available and they will transfer me to different hotel. Even though I've already booked and paid for the hotel online. They moved me to very bad hotel with no services and the toilet is with the bedroom with cheap separator in which you can smell everything from the bathroom. I don't recommend you to book with this hotel. Pay more for different one and have better accommodation. The exact story happened to my friend as well.

We chose this hotel because of the price and you get what you pay. The room not modern and with cheap furnetire, the room size is ok and the breakfast is too basic The bathroom is small and if you are tall or fat you will not like it The location is good, close to taksim sequare and metro station Overall not bad

Incorrectly categorised as 4 star.
Staff very friendly and accommodating, but let down by a shabby, run down musty smelling outdated hotel that has been incorrectly categorised as a 4 star hotel. My advice is to book elsewhere and direct with the hotel, as you will get a better deal minus the agency fees. We ended up eating breakfast across the road at the Parma hotel, which was so much cleaner and food exceptional (didn't fancy dry proceeded chips at the inntel for breakfast). Much to my dismay, discovered that the Parma hotel was almost identical in price to inntel! The inntel is not a 4 star hotel, much cleaner hotels situated in Taksim for similar prices.

Close to Taksim, but not the best
The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff are helpful and polite. The rooms were cleaned daily, but they were not especially, mostly on the first day. Also, the rooms were non-smoking, but the staff smoke on the stairs, and the smell comes in to the room through the air vents at all times.

The rooms were overall comfortable and clean but its size was small , the reception not helpful at all , the housekeeping removed cards from rooms in ordered to save electricity while we were out ( even though we asked them not to because we had insulin shots in the mini freezer that almost got ruined ). dinning hall was small with the same meals requiring for our 8 days stay .

Not recommended for families.
The staff working on the night shift were really rude and was not friendly or willing to help. They promised to give us a child bed the next day of our stay (which they never), so 3 people had to sleep in a double bed for 2 two days. They offered me another room but double the amount of what I paid for the previous room, so I had to leave my family and stay in another hotel. However, the staff working in the morning were polite and helpful. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to Taksim square and the rooms are clean.

WasVery bad choice to spend easter holiday
Very bad choice ,to me I will not rate it 1* Dirty rooms from bed sheets to towels.... Limited breakfast and unpleasant. I will not recommend it to anyone as a lot of choices where to stay in Istanbul.
