My 3-day stay at the Magnaura Palace was wonderful! The staff--Aydin and Enes (sp?)--went above and beyond to make every aspect of my visit the best. The rooftop offered an incredible photo opp with the Blue Mosque lit up at night! The breakfast buffet had the largest selection of fruits, salads, breads and desserts! The room, with a balcony, offered just about every amenity you could want, and a comfy bed. Almost forgot to mention the location...I was skeptical whether the tourist attractions were really within walking distance, especially since I have a disability. But even I was able to walk to the mosques and Topkapi Palace! And I appreciated the airport transportation. If I ever make it back to Istanbul, this is where I would stay again.

We felt very welcome in this hotel, all staff were excellent, rooms cleaned to a high standard, superb location for many of the sights and delicious breakfast with stunning views across the Bosphorus. If we come back to Istanbul we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location....close to historical sites and transport...very walkable. Hotel has an awesome view while having breakfast at the top floor. Staff very helpful and friendly. To top it all very clean! Will return back to stay again. Thanks to all staff and management

I love this hotel. It is my second time staying there. It is conveniently located right in the middle of all attractions and close to transportation. There are many restaurants around. It is walkable everywhere. The stuff is friendly, the restaurant has amazing view to Bosphorus.

Great Hotel in a Great Location
The hotel is modern inside, in excellent condition and very clean. There are great views form the breakfast restaurant, and even better from the rooftop terrace. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great for visiting the historic sites of Istanbul. We walked to most. And there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The only “surprise” was the very loud call to prayer from the nearby mosques at 6:30 AM. Not being Muslim, we were not expecting it, so it startled my light-sleeping wife the first morning. But you will get the same wake-up call no matter where you stay in this great area.

Breakfast included with a large selection of food, nicely presented. Front desk staff very nice and helpful with tours. Room was very modern with excellent lighting. Short 6 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Haifa Sofia and Topkapi Palace a little farther.

In over 50 years of travelling, this was one of the very best hotel experiences. Amazing staff who can’t do enough for you. Great location. Fabulous views from the terrace every breakfast. Will not stay anywhere else while in Istanbul.

Amazing location the rooms are well laid out and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic. The rooftop patio looking at both the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque was amazing.

the regular daily staff was great, very helpful and kind. But the late-night staff is not good, maybe is too young but he doesn't know how to behave. One night our friend went to our room to use the restroom and he called asking our friend to get out. I can understand that not guessing cannot stay but there was no time for that conclusion. What made this more uncomfortable is the fact I get into my friend's hotel all the time (Arcadia Blue) and never the hotel staff said something to us

The Magnaura Palace Hotel is in an ideal location for seeing the famous Mosques, easy walking distance to the Grand Bazaar and other historical sites. The staff are very friendly and eager to help if needed. The rooms are clean and a good selection for breakfast is provided, the views from the breakfast room is amazing (especially at night). Trams are available nearby to travel to other parts of the city and lots of restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay here.

Nice hotel near to main attractions
Great location few minutes' walk to main attractions. we did book airport transfer through hotel and don't recommend to others. Made us wait in smoking zone outside airport in cold for almost 40min and then have to walk to another parking lot and wait for 10min for our drive to arrive. while return transfer to airport the driver was watching videos on phone while driving and was driving very leisurely (all the cars were passing us) even though we mentioned we are getting late for flight. Also I dont recommend taking the boat tour as they say sunset cruise but dont get to see any sunset also make you get down on Asian side for shopping for one hour where there are no shops to shop. No proper information. It was of time instead just go to the Eminonu stop where you find several boat tours offering tours for less price and time.

A gem in the heart of the old city
The Hotel is situated in the heart of Sultan Ahmet district and literally a minute walk to the main square for the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Amazing location. Breakfast is also extremely well done and with a great 4th floor dining space with great views of the sea and the mosques. We stayed on first floor, reception staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a comfortable room. Wifi also worked well. Clean spaces. Overall would highly recommend the Hotel and the wonderful and courteous staff. I would also advise to use the Hotel taxi.
