"Highly recommend this hotel. The staff were helpful, the breakfast buffet was above par, and the extra amenities were great. The room we had was very small; however, we were only there to sleep. The bathroom shower was superb and the toilet, with a heated seat, was far superior to anything offered in the States. They provided toothbrushes, hairbrushes, foaming hand soap, all the items needed to shower, pj's, house slippers, and multiple cosmetic face/body lotions. The location was about a 10 minute walk from the train station but in a quiet part of the city. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The location is excellent, just a quick four minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, and there’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs which makes everything super convenient. The room was clean and had all the essentials, but the building itself feels a little rundown, especially the elevator and hallways. The lighting throughout the hotel is also quite dark, which gives it a slightly older feel. The bed was firm, which is pretty common in Japan, but from a North American perspective it might feel hard or uncomfortable if you have a sensitive back like me. I recommend asking for an extra duvet to make it softer and more cushioned. The staff were kind and helpful, and overall it was a decent stay in a great location for exploring Ikebukuro and beyond."
