It's a property for people who enjoy the vintage vibe. If you're a traveler who appreciates vintage, this is definitely your place. The front desk and office area exude class, but once you enter the rooms, it all becomes extremely vintage. It's not my style of hotel, but it's quiet and polite.

Needs updating and more cleaning

The hotel WAS a 5-star hotel but it has run down into a 3-star hotel. The pool was dirty and then closed. The rooms were dated and the hotel could be cleaner. The air conditioning does not have a thermostat so it is difficult to control the room temperature.

Good Hotel but outdated room

The checkin process was good , the staff was courteous. Room was outdated , shower was broken and had to wait for the 'engineering' team to fix the shower. After multiple calls and 30 mins of waiting didn't help to fix the issue. Also there was only one point for charging laptop or phones.

We enjoyed our stay at this luxury hotel. The buffet breakfast was excellent and there were lunch and dinner buffets if you don't feel like venturing out. The rooms are spacious with amazing views of the city. The beds are overall comfortable and the rooms stay nice and cold. The shower is hot but the water doesn't drain out of the bottom very well. We appreciated the welcome waters and toothbrushes. We needed hand towels and they delivered them promptly. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a convenience store nearby that serves food and drinks. There's a bank nearby and you can walk 15 minutes to a market for food options. We will stay here again.

The room, AC was poor did not keep room cool enough. The toilet required me to flush it for roughly 15-25 seconds to actually get the toilet to flush. These two things caused minor inconveniences, and they unfortunately couldn't fix either during the stay. That being said, the room was clean, property was clean, breakfast was great with a wide variety and fresh fruit. The staff at the hotel were very kind, curteous, and helpful. This was the 2nd stay of mine and they have always had excellent service. I would highly reccomend this hotel for anyone to stay at.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious but needs updating. Breakfast has many options but the restaurant was so crowded that sometimes it's hard to find a table to sit. Other than the restaurants on site, no other restaurants nearby.

I was only here for a few hours waiting between arrival from the airport and a train. I chose this hotel because of the reviews and it proximity to the Gambir train station.

Decent hotel in central Jakarata, walking distance to Gambia station and easy to get to all the sites by taxi or tuktuk. Reasonable, clean rooms. Very large pool and bar in a lovely garden. Staff were great - thanks to Ricci in the bar for the Indonesian snack recommendations! Delicious.
