great facility and location. prestigeous environment and very good hospitality from staff. overall very high quality. only two issues during stay, 1. pool dining too slow(had to cancel aft 50minutes delivery) 2. rotary noise during midnight and early morning very loud (not sure whether construction or traffic..)

Good and Convenient

The room was clean and very comfortable and makes it a home away from home. Breakfast was pretty decent as well. I would have wish the check-in staff (whom I wish not to mention) could display more enthusiasm as a front-office staff with more courteous and politeness in his welcome. The room was booked under my profile for a staff of mine, but the attitude was slightly comes off as impolite the way he put certain remarks or wordings. Overall experience has been very pleasant.

All the staffs are friendly and always have smile on their face which made us feel home even though it was only a few night stay. Relaxing and luxurious

A short stay to recover from our international flight and before onward travel to Bandung. The room was spacious with an excellent shower. and long bath. Buffet breakfast was plentiful. The best part of our stay were the lap swimming pool and the evening for cocktails and oysters at the lounge where there was live music and a marvellous view of the fountain roundabout and traffic below.

Very nice hotel and our family room was spacious overlooking the pool and tennis court…Lovely marble bathroom. Friendly staff. Swimming pool, gym and tennis court were excellent. They even have physiotherapy and skin clinic. Very convenient as it is attached to Plaza mall and across the street from Grand Indonesia mall. So many restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. The food at the hotel is very nice. Will definitely stay here next time I visit Jakarta.

An Absolute Gem in Jakarta – Exceptional Experience! This was my first time in Jakarta, but as an experienced world traveler with stays at top hotels across the globe, I can confidently say this hotel is an undiscovered jewel. Unlike the usual tourist hotspots, it offers an unparalleled level of comfort and service. My room was simply outstanding—featuring a spacious walk-in closet, an enormous bathroom divided into three separate areas (shower, dual sinks, and toilet), and a beautifully designed bedroom/studio. This stay was my stopover before heading to Sorong for a diving trip, and the hotel’s Olympic-sized saltwater pool was a game-changer. It allowed me to check my dive gear—something often frowned upon in the U.S.—while also preparing for my dives with some solid swim sessions. The spa was at the level of a top-tier Japanese spa (and I say this having just been in Tokyo two weeks ago). Breakfast was exceptional, offering a perfect mix of Western and Indonesian options—Eggs Benedict done to perfection, incredible local dishes, fresh juices, and expertly crafted coffee drinks. I also had a fantastic Indonesian chicken soup for lunch at the café—absolutely delicious. The location is another huge plus. The hotel has direct access to Plaza Indonesia, and the magnificent Grand Indonesia Mall is just next door—making everything incredibly convenient. One of the true highlights of my stay was the exceptional hospitality. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness were beyond me!

Poor First Impression but Improved

Check in was stated to be 3pm, we arrived a little after but our room wasn’t ready until 3:45pm. Also upon arrival the full benefits of our Grand Club access were not explained, including breakfast arrangements Throughout the afternoon we found the team to be very friendly but lacking the attention to efficiency and detail one expects of 4* hotel. Things reached a head when we were nearly seated at the wrong table for dinner in their C’s Steakhouse. Fortunately we spoke to the Director of F&B who was very understanding regarding all our concerns since checking in. Then everything improved Throughout dinner both the service and food were great and the following day it was obvious our complaint had been related to The Grand Club team. Service was then swift and attentive culminating in receiving a complimentary chauffeur ride to the airport. While our experience didn’t start well, I really appreciate the team for responding to our concerns and taking action to improve our overall experience As such when travelling though Jakarta again, we will probably revisit the Grand Hyatt.
