This is a beautiful 5 star hotel which exudes older-style glamour and luxury. Reminds me of famous hotels in Hong Kong and Singapore. I will be back next time I need to be in Jakarta!

Love the hotel and will come back. I was introduced to the Mulia brand before this and truly enjoyed my stay. My only feedback is breakfast window that is required, not very convenient for us. We are visiting for a vacation and want to be able to just relax. It wasn’t very relaxing with breakfast. Overall the service was outstanding and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Very crowded and noisy lobbies and restaurants especially during breakfast, the breakfast spread is mostly local. The hotel seems to be a popular destination among the locals. Service could have been better.

Indonesia Sports Complex

I am sure the Mulia was once a very nice hotel, but it is now showing its age. However, the pool, gym, tennis courts, sauna, and spa are still top-notch. The breakfast buffet is above average, and the food from the restaurants, both local and Western, is much better than expected. There is no better place to stay if you are attending a game at the Indonesia Sports Complex, but I otherwise wouldn't go out of my way to stay here as there are better hotels priced less than this with preferable locations.

fascinating hotel

Best hotel. Clerks are well educated and friendly. Complimentary morning buffet is good enough. Restaurants are great; i visited Chinese, Japanese, Italian restaurants; friendly and polite, characteristics I like. Good location. Just around 2km to the skycraper downtown area. Just 1~1.5km to the International Convention Center, Senayan Plaza, Senayan City Mall, Senayan Park and Spark. Security well inforced. Every luggage must pass thru the checking belt like airports. As a frequent traveller, this is one of the best hotels in the world. I'll visit again in next travel to Jakarte.

Disappointing 5 star hotel

Disappointing service for a 5 star hotel. Towels are yellowish with stains and even holes! Had to beg for amenities and slippers. Avoid as other options with much better service for the same price do exist in the area

Classic but cozy. Especially fitness center is the best as long as I know. Only thing that I wasn't happy is that there is no convenience store or restaurant in walking distance.
