"This place is a treasure! We stayed in the next door property owned by the same people and both homes are so charming! The rooms were all quite big and they even gave us the room that adjoined another! Everything was clean and well organized.The bed was very comfortable and everything was just so thoughtfully designed. Eleanor and Ron were perfect hosts. "An absolutely Divine Stay! June was Hot but the charming pool was a refreshing quench at the end of the day. Big beach towels in a cute pool bag were provided in the room for us. The complementary tour of the house was gorgeous! The Garden & Veranda areas were well maintained and in full bloom. Our Hosts were most Gracious & the Ladies of their staff are very attentive, accommodating and just precious, wonderful people. The Douglas room on the 1st floor had easy access to everything. The sit down Breakfast every morning was scrumptious. We felt like invited guests and are already planning our next trip! There are big refrigerators that are assessable in near by areas to store beverages or leftovers from magnificent meals so we didn’t have to bring a cooler. Rent a golf cart it’s worth it for touring the area at your own pace. Wear comfortable shoes; lots of steps on many home tours."

"Originally built in 1840, some 20 years before the civil war. Very solid and updated electrical & plumbing. 4 post beds. No closet but a highly polished chiffarobe cabinet for hang up cloths. Breakfast was great as the canded yams were the best I have ever tasted."

"Absolutely loved our stay here. Felt like a true Southern Belle. Our room was beautiful. We sat on the rocking chairs on the second floor balcony quite a lot and just enjoyed the luxurious atmosphere. It was very peaceful and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the house tour. "
