Wonderful service, very clean as great food. Highly recommend the massages - extremely professional. Beautiful pool & staff listen very carefully and are quick to offer suggestions & help. A wonderful trip!
We had our best stay in bali, villa is spacious with delicious bfast lunch and dinner. our private pool is really wide, not a plunge pool like usual villa in the area
We stay at their private villa with private pool, had a chance to try their floating breakfast, and it was beautiful. delicious breakfast, spotless clean room and super comfy bed. definitely recommended
The villa is spacious and clean, great breakfast. My girlfriend enjoy the spa & nail treatments most during our stay. We had a romantic dinner at their rooftop bar, and the sunset view was stunning. Overall exceptional
We got a large private pool in our villa with beautiful garden, the bathtub is facing the pool and have direct access to it. Room is absolutely gorgeous! Breakfast is buffet and changing menu every day, super delicious. We had our romantic dinner with sunset view at their rooftop restaurant

My stay at The Leaf Jimbaran in Bali was nothing short of extraordinary, marking a perfect return after 15 years. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm welcome and exceptional customer service stood out, embodying why Indonesia is renowned for its hospitality. Traveling solo, I was thrilled with the tailored itinerary the hotel staff curated, including hidden beaches, top-notch restaurants, and lively nightlife spots like Shishi Nightclub—a true gem.
The villa was spacious and luxurious, featuring a private pool that added a touch of paradise to my stay. The daily breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the cooking class I participated in was a highlight, giving me a hands-on experience with traditional Balinese cuisine.
The spa and wellness facilities are superb, offering a mix of traditional Balinese treatments and modern comforts that left me completely rejuvenated. One video I made sums up my experience: “I am living in my dream.” This couldn’t be truer. I’m already planning my return in December.
Pros:
• Top-notch service and personalized recommendations
• Luxurious villas with private pools
• Great dining and engaging cooking classes
• Excellent spa and wellness facilities
Cons:
• None—everything was perfect!
If you’re seeking a luxurious, authentic Balinese experience, The Leaf Jimbaran is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Initially, I was shocked to find myself in a room with clear signs of significant moisture issues. As soon as I entered, the odor was overwhelming. Despite the hotel staff's efforts to mask the unpleasant smell with various scented products, it didn’t help at all. The room itself was spacious and nicely decorated, so I attempted to remove the scented items and opened the windows, but after an hour, the smell persisted. I requested a room change, and the hotel staff, who were very friendly, accommodated my request.
The second room was smaller, but thankfully, it didn’t have a strong odor at first. However, over time, I noticed a distinct humidity smell. It was no surprise to discover mold on the bathroom walls. I had to place a towel over the air duct to minimize the odor. My friend, who stayed in the adjacent room, experienced the same issue. We didn’t spend much time in our rooms, so we chose not to switch hotels, but keep in mind that the hotel is quite isolated—you’ll need to take a cab to reach restaurants and the beach.
While this property is nice but here are the issues I faced after paying a good deal of money for a villa recently over new year period
- daily power outage due to some fault in the Villa. NYE was the worst as no staff and we spent 4-5 hours with poor sleep in heat with mosquito bites
- some staff are helpful but none offered anything to solve this issue. I had to ask and negotiate to get a F&B charge & airport drop off as compensation. They neither moved us to another villa not proactively offered anything for customer experience.
- pool was laden with leaves always , no cleaning unless you call and ask for it .
The room & bathroom & other areas in the villa was good but the daily power outage and lack of staff’s or hotel manager’s willingness to anything about it makes us in no rush to book this place again. I’ll go somewhere else next I’m in Bali.

Villa Stay
Over the design of the villa was great but the overall cleanliness could have been better. Also, the pool needed to be cleaned as well.

Great staff
Great and friendly staff at the hotel. Special thanks to Ketut at the restaurant and breakfast area. Also the singing female server, "The limited edition" one :) Room lacked several items on arrival and window was impossible to lock propperly. Reported to staff. Forgot to check if window was fixed. Room 3305. Ive got a bit sensitive back and bed gave me some problems...gone after one night sleep at next hotel. WiFi was so so...on and off. Resto WiFi was a bit better
magnifiques villas et personnel aux petits soins, par contre établissement très isolé, heureusement que nous avons loué un scooter pour bouger. . .

Apparently The Leaf is just coming up 4 years old but it could be 15 years old by the look of the place. External floorboards lifting, lacking stain polish, poor bathroom lighting and the main door lock not working (taking we frustrated guests up to 10-minutes to access our room after 12-15 swipe card attempts), are just some of the issues. The 1.5 meter crack in the shower recess glass (held together with sticky tape), has been in that state for over 12-months based on older reviews. Surely the business has property and public indemnity insurance!! The food is basic and with breakfast closing at 10:30am has surprisingly the clearing away and non-replacement of offerings at 09:55am!
The staff are gorgeous, professional and well trained.
