Pros and Cons
Pros: 1) great location, near KSL; 2) helpful staff: most employees we interacted with were nice and efficient; 3) good breakfast spread - loved the local options; and 4) spacious room - we felt like we were staying in a mansion. Cons: 1) our room was very noisy. At first we thought it was a neighboring room. But then the next day I realized it was probably the Ginza Lounge located a floor above. We were staying on the 13th floor and the lounge was on the 14th floor. The front desk did offer a room change but only to a room without bathtubs; 2) faint cigarette smell at times - not sure if this is related to the lounge being on the floor above but at times we had to turn the air con off as we could smell a faint cigarette smoke smell. None of us own cigarettes nor do we smoke. For what it’s worth, the smell went away after a while but it was still extremely disgusting; and 3) light switches not properly labeled - hard to figure out which light switch was for which light, especially when you don’t want to wake your partner up in the middle of the night by clicking the light switch for all the lights in the room.

Water drainage can be heard from the beds. Water seems to always be flowing for a good 5 minutes after the taps were closed. First room we had had smoking fumes. Requested to change but staff pushed back. Challenged them to come in to sniff and do a nose test - only then did they relent.

Surprisingly great! Room is clean, cheap and spacious. Restaurant is well renovated inside. Buffet breakfast is decent. Hotel is walking distance from KSL. Though dimly lit at night, it's actually a housing area and should be generally safe to walk through

Good hotel with poor management
I want to rate 5 stars as this is a good hotel but poor management. - stingy on bottle waters and poor quality of hotel amenities - smelly towels - request towel change but didn’t come. Instead I need to bring the towel and DIY exchange - level 14 KTV is very noisy, unable to sleep till 2am. Above can be improved when management willing to look into them seriously.

Wonderful place with delicious breakfast and good location. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in showed signs of wear and tear, with cracks in the bathtub and some bits of the bathroom held on with tape! But looking past that, a lovely time was had in otherwise very comfy surroundings.

Near to shopping mall, eateries and hawker centre, Lot of choices on massage centre to choose and hair salons. Hotel also provides good spread of breakfast.

Good location which is near to KSL , comes with good breakfast, room and bed is big. I have been staying here once every 2 months ever since the border opens. However , the outside of the windows need to be clean up. Can see algae forming up.
