This is my second stay with the hotel. First experience was ok but recent experience is lousy. 1. Room run down although big 2. Shower tub looks dirty 3. Staying at level 20 = long wait for lift 4. Room card illogical, 1 just from room and 1 just to open door.

Staff helpful. Hotel front door attendant was very nice. Room is really really gross. Stained pillow and bedsheet. But it’s 50sgd a night, so I gave it a 3 star because it priced correctly.

Good location and good stay
Service was great, staff very helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Overall I was happy with condition given the price. Surrounding area has lots of food options.

I am highly satisfied with this property as it is conveniently located in close proximity to various dining establishments, particularly Benafee Village. Nonetheless, I encountered a minor inconvenience with the air conditioning system for the first time, as it was leaking water. Nevertheless, considering the spaciousness of the room, my overall experience was pleasant.

Returned to property after a 2 night day 2 weeks ago. This stay was for one night and a late check out was needed (4pm) the hotel was far from full but was charged almost the full nightly rate. During the late check out period the peer went off for a time, no rebate was given. On arrival the room next to mine had left out uneaten food from room service, was still there following morning. As said in earlier review needs total upgrade but rooms were decent size and local cafes are good

Water disaster on arrival. Shower head faulty resulting in flooding in the toilet. Room was clearly not cleaned up properly as dirt and rubbish could be seen on the carpet. Dirty and extremly wore out bedsheets were used. Lifts and service lifts were super slow. Can wait up to 5-7 mins for one and another 3 mins to go down from level 19 to G floor. Would not recommend unless tight on budget. There are many other selections around the same area.

The room air condition was too cold. The bathtub design was poor and causing leak to the floor. Thus the bathroom floor was always wet. Room size is big and comfortable.

The hotel near to food restaurant, so good for traveller like me. Only I don't like I have to iron my clothes outside because the hotel provide 2 irons for each floor but it is not convenience because it is far from my room and it is scary if ironing during night.

Not exactly clean, request of items need to be made at least twice before it arrives. Towels looks pretty wore out thus better to bring your own. Thin sound proofing walls. Can heard exactly what the next door guest(s) are saying. Lift renovation going on thus only 1 lift is working. Very slow and takes a long time to arrive.

The room needs a major renovation. The quilt, mattress, pillow and the bed frame feels old. The sofa is terrible, the the cushion doesnt provide much support at all, almost felt like you are sitting on a wooden bench. The toilet need the most work, everything feels like it was done when the hotel was first built decade ago.

worth the money for a short trip
the hotel is old n rundown but worth the money for a big family and short gateway weekends. very efficient receptionist and housekeeping. the beds is old and u can feel the springs.

Overall a Good stay
It was located quote near to JB custom via Singapore just around 10 mins drive, Hotel is big, 25 floor tall, but the outside look was quote worn off. There is a decent multi-story car park, over night charge was only 5 Ringgit. Lobby is big, staff is nice & can speak clear English. The room is big too, air con is working well & cooling, place is neat & clean. Bed is comfy with IMO very great window view. The not so good is shower water didn't get hot, and only 2 lifts is operational due to their lift upgrading schedule, so the lifts always get full & people always can't get in. The rest are all good, there is a message shop & swimming in the Hotel, and there is many eatery place outside the hotel, but mostly operational after 6pm, at midnight 12mn the whole street was so lively, have car wash, lots of road side eats & food court, a disco club was just walking distance away. This hotel also provide breakfast which starts at 7.30am. Overall a good deal for the amount to pay & a good place to stay

First time staying at this hotel, did not realize that it was such a tall hotel. Arrived about 1.40pm but was told to wait till 2 plus as rooms were being cleaned. Waited at the lobby till 2.20 pm and when I went to the counter the lady there wanted to place me in another twin bed room but I rejected as I had booked a queen bed room. For this had to wait till 3pm. The room was really old with peeling on some walls and the hair dryer I did not dare to use as the end was installed into the walk socket not through a normal plug. Toilet was too low for proper use. Fan speed was controlled via the side panel by the bed together with lights. Bed is really stiff and there are no safe deposit box in room. Breakfast is something you can consider missing or go to Macdonald for breakfast, variety not fantastic. However the night time restaurants outside the hotel is fantastic and cheap. Overall I am surprised with the amount of rooms and I was not able to book on Saturday as it was fully booked the hotel really need to revamp the rooms apart from the lift. Also the convenience store on ground floor should be used as emergency option as items are expensive or you can excuse it as they are opened 24 hours so need to jack up prices.

I book a room last minute and when I reach the front office, the receptionist says there is no booking number, decided she can't accommodate me as the hotel is full and goes to do her own thing until I ask for the manager which he promptly says he is still organizing the new booking documentation. The room itself is nice but the lighting panel is faulty which causing all lights to goes off a few time in the evening. The door is insensitive to the door card. The faucet spits rather than flow. The office chair is damaged beforehand. The fridge is warm. No safe in room. The worst of all, I do not feel welcome to the hotel, the onlt smile I have is from the maintenance guy and the doorman. I shouldn't have pick this hotel just to save a few more bucks.
