I waited for 15 minutes at the instructed location, but the bus never stopped. It drove through the rotary so quickly that I didn't even see it coming and had no chance to board. A tip for future guests: To avoid this issue, I highly recommend calling the hotel on your travel day to reconfirm the exact shuttle pickup time...

"No attendant at the check-in, no staff in the hotel thru out my stay. You have to call their sister hotel and ask the staff to walk over for check in, then you are on your own. "

It has a traditional feel and the cafe is really nice and the hot springs, however there is no view, unless you pay for the private baths upstairs. The whole place could use a bit of a facelift, but more of an issue was the lack of service and the quality of the food, particularly dinner. We arrived too late for the 6:30 seating and was given the 7:00 p.m. seating. Clearly the appetizer box had been sitting out for a long time and...
