"We stayed in Villa C and it was fantastic. Very spacious rooms and a fantastic semi outdoor private onsen bath and shower. Lots of amenities provided to take as needed. We didn’t see any people at all at the property. The beds were big and soft. You do hear a lot of trains, however we used the supplied ear plugs and slept fine. Paid parking on the property. The property is up a very narrow and steep road, we had a car, but you should consider a taxi if arriving by train. Self check in, we saw...

"No attendant at the check-in, no staff in the hotel thru out my stay. You have to call their sister hotel and ask the staff to walk over for check in, then you are on your own. "

I waited for 15 minutes at the instructed location, but the bus never stopped. It drove through the rotary so quickly that I didn't even see it coming and had no chance to board. A tip for future guests: To avoid this issue, I highly recommend calling the hotel on your travel day to reconfirm the exact shuttle pickup time...

"The hotel is up a steep sloping street and in a quiet area. It has a traditional feel and the cafe is really nice and the hot springs, however there is no view, unless you pay for the private baths upstairs. The whole place could use a bit of a facelift, but more of an issue was the lack of service and the quality of the food, particularly dinner. We arrived too late for the 6:30 seating and was given the 7:00 p.m. seating. Clearly the appetizer box had been sitting out for a long time and...

"The view from your room towards the ocean was amazing and the room is very big. Otherwise, the onsen is not big and the location is walkable but a very steep climb up a flight of stairs. At the hotel there isnt much to do unless you want to pay and felt abit more expensive just to use the space. Also located where if u wanted to eat out you had to walk down the steep stairs and on the way back you would need to walk back up the steep stairs.
