"Check in was easy and parking (under the hotel) was convenient. Breakfasts were excellent, good choice and well presented. The only slight problem was the lack of air conditioning but the window opened wide (and safely) so the hot weather was bearable."
"Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. I had a room in the red house facing the garden. Room was nice and very clean. Would definitely stay here again. "
"Great apartment, beautiful natural light. Comes with a fully stocked kitchen. The room was a good size so we didn't feel stuck in a small space. Easy to get codes and get in and out. "The hotel is beautiful and it's right beside the lake, short walk to the small lake and the main shopping area. There's a street opposite the train station that feels a little unsettling but we soon discovered other routes to avoid it. Would definitely recommend this hotel as they seem to have thought of everything. "

"Older classic hotel with high ceilings and old world charm. Lovely decor. Surprised we could open the window with no protective screen. Sabina and Roche both pleasant, personable and helpful. A nice stay very convenient to train station with great dining options."
"The rooms are great. View is great. Many good places to dine nearby. Train station right by the hotel. If possible take train to Hamburg. If by car, park the car by the hotel and take public transportation around the city.
The breakfast buffet is a must have. It is superb.
