"I can only give 4 stars because there is no smoke alarm and I was travelling alone so would not wake up and I had to ask for refill of clean towels, water , shower gel on 3rd day . I was hoping my room would get cleaned but didnt. No window in my room. Other then that it's a nice stay for a good price with your own bathroom and nice roof terrace. Some guests came in late screaming around hallway when I'm trying to sleep and bar pumping but no big deal. The owner said he will install smoke alarms...

"A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. "

" I came to Penang to register my daughter into USM. It’s a great choice. It’s near to USM around 15mins. Car can park inside hotel with gates for FREE. speedmart 100meter, waking distance for local food. Becareful they lock the gate at 12midnight for security ."

"The hotel knowing out wrong location on expedia to attract customers. Not in georgetown!"

"The room was super warm and humid. The windows couldn't shut fully and had incects coming in. The opposite of the property have chickens and dogs that will make noise super early in the morning. There were some lion dance practices till late at night. The room have no poles/hooks to hang stuff. Only have a small row of hooks behind the door. The property wall had tissue paper stuffed in it and multiple defects on the wall. The property has very noisy flooring, I can hear everyone walking...
