"A great all inclusive in Gambia! Rooms were very clean and spacious. Food was basic but good enough! Very quiet hotel even at night with the live music - was never annoyingly loud even though close to the rooms. Highly recommend!"

"Rooms renovated, huge pool, sunbeds no umbrellas, you can get in shade under palm trees, full cooked breakfast everyday, lots of locals living in old blocks of apartment's back of hotel, love the little children coming to find you by pool, the staff and locals look out for you make sure your ok, good security. "This was the worst hotel in gambia. It started with the fee to check in early $1500 dalasi (no one can control when their flights come in) you should be able to check in early if the hotel is not full and your guys were definitely not full the 3 weeks that I stayed. We got to our room and the toilet wouldn't flush and we had no AC. After traveling I couldn't even stand in the room because I couldn't breathe. I went to reception and they were going to charge $1000 dalasi a day which would have been well over $20,000 dalasi for AC. There is no tea kettle, coffee or anything for your guests. EVERYTHING is a charge, so even though it's cheap all the extra fees add up to the stay being very expensive. The blankets and pillows are stained.blankets are rough from over usage. The "free" breakfast is a joke, offering only a limited amount and once food is complete they do not refill it. The gambian workers are expected to do mutiple jobs for very little pay. The grounds are horrible and everything is dying and there are no flowers.You should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing the corruption inside the hotel. You use old photos from the past to advertise on your website which does not truly let a guest know what they are getting into.I have never seen a hotel like this before. This should be a 1 star hotel for all the things you don't offer. I will post reviews everywhere I know so that someone can take their hard earned money to another hotel that treats their guests better."

"Yes, the pool is nice the staff were helpful and accommodating. I will be returning again hopefully soon. Look no where is perfect, if you want perfection then stay home. While here, i felt safe and welcomed. We had a shared bathroom but i never felt rushed. The TV works but limited channels but you have access to wifi so bring your own tablet. Sometimes the lights go out but they have a generator. There is a small store next door to purchase water. The neighborhood is friendly i never felt alone or lonely as a solo traveler. The rooms are clean enough. i noticed some of the walls and ceiling fans should be wiped or cleaned, again if you want perfection stay home. All and all i had an enjoyable time and felt protected and welcomed. Yes, i recommend this guest house it was cozy and surrounded by lush trees, fruit trees and a lovely neighborhood cat, that i fell in love with. I will miss, sounds of the wind blowing through the trees on cool nights and the sounds of birds singing. "
