"Beautiful"

"I recently stayed at the Royal Kona Resort in Kona, Hawaii. The location and amenities definitely deserve a 5-star rating. The oceanfront views are absolutely beautiful, the saltwater lagoon and pool area are great, and the property has that classic Hawaiian resort feel. Being able to walk right into town for restaurants and shops is also a huge plus. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and service did not match the amazing setting. Our room and some of the common areas didn’t seem as clean or well maintained as expected, which took away from the experience. In addition, several interactions with staff felt unfriendly and unwelcoming. Overall, the Royal Kona has incredible potential because of its location and amenities, but improvements in housekeeping and customer service would make a big difference in the overall guest experience."

"The grounds are always kept in prime condition. The access to a good snorkel beach and a near by pool is one main reason for coming here. The staff were all great and helpful. The food service and quality were great at each location. Breakfast was excellent. Of course $40 a night for self-parking and another $40 for Resort fees is a killer as it is just pure profit add on to the room rate."

"The condo was clean and stocked with everything you need to begin your trip. You'll need to get additional toiletries if you plan on staying longer than a few days. The staff were beyong friendly, we went to beaches rather than the pool but it was always being used so it must be great. It was well kept onside and out, even the BBQ was consistently clean. Cant wait to visit again!"

"The rooms were very spacious and the beds very comfortable.Kitchen well equipped and location very good with restaurants and shopping in walking distance. The villas furniture was looking slightly dated but was clean.overall I would recommend it"

"What an amazing stay! I cannot express how awesome this place is. Multiple pools with waterslides were awesome, restaurant and bar directly by the main pools. Several hot tubs, BBQS, kids area, hotel functions daily, (live music, hula dancing, making leis, shave ice, yoga in the morning sunshine, free golf range and clubs...) I could go on and on!!! This property was within a mile from several shops and restaurants, Dolphin Quest, and other Hilton properties we were allowed free access and parking to... Not to mention the all the beaches within walking distance and others within a 15 minute drive. I cannot wait to visit with the family again, it was truly paradise!!!"
