"Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting Kawagoe with its historic 'Edo Town', as the nearest station (Matoba) is just two stops away. The very kind owner/host offers a comfortable place to stay with excellent hospitality and flexibility for not just solo travellers but couples and even small groups. Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Staff were very friendly and accommodating."

THE KNOT TOKYO Shinjuku

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent hotel! The breakfast buffet was a highlight, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms are a decent size by Tokyo standards. As a quick heads-up for others: there is a large step up into the bathroom, so you may want to contact the hotel if you have mobility issues (though it wasn't a problem for us). The property is clean and tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood. Being right next to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building gave us easy access to the observation deck and the evening light show. There is also a convenient bus service directly to Shibuya. We would absolutely stay here again!"

Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Ikebukuro

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent stay in Ikebukuro. Hotel well placed from JR Station. Room was really nice. It was clean, had a great view from the 21st floor and was well maintained with daily housekeeping. Staff was very helpful. I didn't have a lot of questions, but when I did they were very attentive. I would define stay here again."
