Hiring a car is a must the views are stunning on every turn you can find small beaches and lots of nice eating places

Mazarakata might not have many top sights, but Castle of Agios Georgios and St George's Castle are two attractions nearby that you can check out.

While Katapodata isn't home to many top sights, Drogarati Cave and Karavomilos Beach are some notable places to visit nearby.

Excellent location, Fabulous facilities. Superb staff. What a real jewel in Agostlini. Easy to get to harbour and see turtles 8-10am daily by fishing boats. Great central location. Square comes alive at night and plenty of tasty places to eat. Cant fault this hotel or location. Great base to visit ...

The breakfast buffet was ok, but was basically the same everyday. The eggs were dry. The tables and breakfast room were very small.

Kefallonia is a quieter island. There are few sights - we went to the impressive Drogati & Melissani caves & smaller beaches/ coves. A car is essential for some of the time - the island's bus infrastructure is limited
Our fifth visit to Kefalonia.Lovely scenery, great weather, friendly people, good food.Enjoyed staying in Fiscardo Agia Ephemia,Spartia and Lixouri area Favourite beaches are Foki ,Alaites and small beaches on road between Agia Ephemia to Sami
Beautiful, friendly locals, delicious food, could find empty beaches if prepared to walk / hire a boat etc
Kefalonia is amazing! Remote with breath taking sceneries. Great place, great people and great food!
