area were well maintained, and the staff was kind and helpful. I went to the Italian restaurant just across the street, and they did not accept credit cards (yes, it still happens in rural Germany). At the reception, the manager was kind and gave me 50 euros to get my driver's license back, which I had to leave at the restaurant. I will definitely go back if the chance presents itself. "

All the pictures on Hotels.com are of a neighboring property that you can go to and enter if you purchase access during limited hours. "My husband and I spent a week at this lovely hotel. The owners of the hotel are exceptional and the staff was friendly, helpful, and very accomodating. The breakfast was perhaps among one of the best hotel offered we have every had. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Regensburg area.
