"The property is beautiful and the staff amazing. The pool villas are well appointed, and the pools are well taken care of. Be prepared for a bit of a hike to get to them, but they are worth the walk. The restaurant has a nice variety of Malaysian and Western food and the quality is excellent. Staff went out of their way to accomodate all our requests and were very helpful. The shuttle into Ubud Centre runs regularly. I would recommend to anyone who wants a first class resort experience!"

"We booked a few nights here for our honeymoon. The location, the resort, and the staff made us feel like we were in paradise, entrenched in a forest setting. We were surprised by a lovely cake and decorations for our room for our honeymoon. The staff are super friendly and tentative. The entire staff work together to make sure we get the best service. Sadewa was very friendly and attend to our every needs during breakfast. He has support from, Sutrisna, Diaksa, and Dewi when he’s busy with other guests so we are always attend to. Our room came with butler service and Agus made our trip stress-free with any questions or needs taken care of. Such a wonderful resort and a distressing time after the wedding. Thank you to the entire Maya staff from the front desk, housekeeping, kitchen, engineering, and butler service making our trip the most relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely come back every year."

"We stayed in Bali for 2 weeks and Ayung Resort was hands down the best from the 5 accomodations we had from Kuta, Ubud to Kintamani! We stayed at their Jungle Villa with mesmerizing views of the mountain, tranquil sounds of the river and singing birds, amazing landscaping, excellent food and afternoon tea at their restaurant Wijaya Kasuma , breathtaking pool, great Spa service - we had 2 therapies and the reflexology really detoxed my swelling leg from salt build up- And the best staff, beautuful smiley faces and courteous demeanor, fast and attentive! We had a real great time at the resort! Thank you Ayung Resort!"

"Tejaprana was a small oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The property was beautiful and really provided a sense of calmness and serenity. I enjoyed the fact that there were a limited number of villas, so you never felt like things were crowded or too many people. The staff were excellent and cared for all your needs, all while remembering your name every time they saw you. Those small customer service offerings make a huge difference and really what I have come to expect when traveling in south east Asia. The only negative thing I can say is that there were a large number of gecko's and large black ants (that bite). I ended up with a gecko guest in my room half way through my visit and had the ants all over my patio/pool area which made it less enjoyable to relax out there. However I will say that when I mentioned this to the front desk, they very quickly dispatched someone to come spray the patio area using multiple treatments. Overall, that was a small inconvenience compared to how much I enjoyed the other elements of my stay. After all, it is a tropical/jungle area so our little insect creatures are to be expected. This was a solo trip for me and I absolutely can not wait to return to Bali. "

"We stayed in a 1-bedroom villa for a week & absolutely loved every aspect of our experience! The staff are incredible- so kind, informative, and attentive, but also truly respected our privacy. Anything we needed was taken care of immediately. The staff truly made our stay feel like a 5-star experience. The Villa itself was beautiful! We were right up against Monkey Forest so the villa felt totally private- like a high-end oasis in the jungle. It was also fully stocked with toiletries & drinks for our stay. The turnover service was delightful. We were so grateful to have our own private pool too. It really elevated the experience & added a romantic flare. Oh, and the Japanese Tub was an awesome addition- great for a late-night soak after a long day of exploring. Note: do not leave food unattended as monkeys will snag a treat haha I was not expecting food to be a highlight but it totally was. We ate at Embers several times & also ordered breakfast to the villa, & we did lunch over at Copper as well. Every time, we were blown away. I had their chia pudding every morning & their chocolate mousse dessert might be the best I've ever had. The drinks were also phenomenal- low alcohol but that just meant I could try several. As if the taste wasn't enough, the presentation was impeccable! Truly like little pieces of art that happened to taste delicious. Ugh, so good! I absolutely recommend staying at Bisma Eight, & specifically at a Villa! Beyond worth it. We will be back!"
