"The Breakfast was included and was really excellent (good choices, fresh good quality ingredients, well presented etc.), and the free off-road parking at the rear was convenient.
We stayed in the cottage which is nicely presented, and good value. The only minor issues were the tv remote didn’t work (probably just batteries), the bathroom is a bit tired (toilet hard to flush, mold around the bath), but the shower and overall facilities were good enough.
Overall, a comfortable good value stay."
"This was my first visit to York and the Ryedale cottages was the best place to stay while in the area. The house is lovely with comfortable beds, clean linens, and loads of games to play as a family. There are miles of walking trails and some cheeky sheep to see up the road.
The view from the front of the house was beautiful and the hosts were so lovely. We arrived with a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator and a Victoria sponge on the table waiting for us.
The kitchen is a bit narrow...

"Lovely large bedrooms at rear of property and plent6 of parking.
The staff were first class in all areas and even got a call before arriving warning us that the road would be closed at 7pm for works preventing access to car park.
Food very good in restaurant.
Don’t be put off by first view from street the interior and rooms are excellent."
