This is simple b and b accommodation but importantly it’s comfortable clean with good in room facilities and welcoming helpful staff. Value for money is tremendous and the pub restaurant is much the same. Great stopover on the way back to Scotland. Will be staying again!

Excellent place to stay.
Excellent place to stay. Nice food and drinks, very nice rooms, excellentservice. Only down side is the noise from neighbouring rooms.

What a fantastic find this is. The room is lovely & has everything we need. The staff are amazing and so lovely, friendly & welcoming. We dined in the restaurant which was beautiful, the food didn’t disappoint with again fantastic service. Definitely recommend this one 👍

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Warm, friendly staff, excellent location and incredible food. This really is an exceptional place with an impressive team of people. One of the best places I've stayed in a long time. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Great pub, great restaurant
The Bay Horse is a lovely, cosy pub and has a fantastic restaurant. Marios is brilliant and makes you feel really welcome. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed at The Bay Horse Inn on our way from London to Edinburgh. It’s perfectly located with easy access just off the main road. The Inn is charming, beautifully maintained, with a friendly staff and terrific pub. We would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable and welcoming. Room was clean and well appointed. Walls a little thin, meant noise from neighbours, otherwise slept fine. Food excellent. Lovely quiet village. Great stopover.

Excellent Inn with fantastic food and lovely staff. We have stayed here previously and got the same warm welcome both times. We stayed with our dogs and there are plenty of nice walks in the area. Would highly recommend

2 day brake
We had a wonderful stay the room was pleasant, nice size room very clean good size bathroom we could hear the guests upstairs walking around but wouldn't put us off going again, we went into the bay horse were we where met by mario who made sure we had everything we needed and he set aside a table for evening meal with a view food was ok atmosphere was good nice log burner in the bar 10/10 for mario what a pleasant man 😃

Beautiful room
We stayed here after a day in Harrogate and Knaresborough. It was a boiling hot day and so I had purposefully booked a place with air conditioning. It did not disappoint! We had such a lovely, comfortable nights sleep with the room at a perfect temperature (you have a remote to control this). The room itself was really lovely, perfect for our needs, with a very modern bathroom. The shower was amazing and I didn’t want to get out! You are provided with hand wash/moisturiser and shower gel/shampoo. Staff in the pub were very friendly and helpful on our arrival. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you 😊

A lovely place to stay
We were booked for one night during a holiday in Yorkshire. Our room was really comfortable and quiet. We had a lovely evening meal and cooked breakfast. We were made to feel really welcome everyone was very friendly. We would definitely book again if we were in Yorkshire and would recommend to friends and family if travelling in the area. The pub was dog friendly as well.

Lovely Country Pub
Room was nicely furnished and the bed was very comfy . Bathroom was modern and clean. Coffee machine was a nice touch but only one type of pod was available. Good selection of teas. Breakfast was served at the nearby Goldsborough Hall. Couldn't eat at the pub on the evening we stayed as the restaurant was closed . Would have booked somewhere else had I known! We chose this place as it is close to Weatherby Racecourse .

Bedroom filthy dirty
The bedroom was filthy dirty. There were sheet cobwebs all over the room and dust and fluff down the side of the bedside tables. The room had apparently recently been refurbished but this has been done to a poor standard. The mattress didn't look old but it was a very low standard as we could feel all the springs.

Bad night’s stay
Stayed on the ground floor room 2 and you could hear the above guests walking around because of the creaky floorboards! They were very early risers! Room was very dusty and cobwebs everywhere, makes you wonder how well cleaned the common areas are given the current climate with COVID. Bathroom bin was full up with previous guests rubbish!
