"Room was basic and outdated. Little storage space and sliding door into the bathroom didn't slide without some effort. The bathroom itself had a strange layout with the toilet beyond the shower meaning that a nighttime visit had to be taken with care! The beach view that we paid for was somewhat marred by the pile of chairs and sunbeds stacked outside."

"Excellent hotel right across the street from the beach. The hotel grounds are perfect. This resort has everything you need to make your stay peaceful, romanitc and recharging. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous to your every question and request. I really would highly recommned this resort as a perfect getaway in the Krabi area. I read other reviews from people complaining this hotel is not Right on the beach..... well it is literally across the street to an amazing beach club that your have access to when staying here. It's not an inconvenience at all and the beach here is perfectly peaceful and relaxing. A great vibe from the beach club makes your afternoon just float away. "When staying in Krabi Nakamanda is my go to resort and has been for a number of years now. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are separate bungalows set in tropical setting and they are very well appointed. It is a pleasure to stay in them. The resort's breakfast is plentiful with a variety of choices. The staff are what make this resort. They are very friendly, very professional and make a stay here so enjoyable you dont want to leave. Surrounding the resort are various businesses, restaurants and a couple on the beach, 7/11 supermarket, massage etc. It is quiet and secure. I have all ready booked my trip there next year 26. Highly recommend to stay here."

"The setting of the hotel was great. Right on the quiet Khlong Muang beach with a great swath of clean sand and awesome sunset views. We stayed in a family room in the main building which was modern and lovely. There are also 2 small pools to enjoy (one on the beach front). It’s about 10 minutes drive from the chaos of Ao Nang. We had no issue getting tours to pick us up directly from the hotel. We recommend The Best 50m up the road away from the beach for awesome smoothies and food. The Balibar is also run by a lovely couple."
