"We really enjoyed our stay at the Tarna. Decent breakfast spread without being overly fancy. The free shuttle to and from town (and to and from the ferry) was greatly appreciated. The onsite dive school was excellent and we had great dives with them. The fact that their equipment is in great condition and they have their own traning pool at the hotel were big pluses. We had a room with its own pool, which we really enjoyed - But be aware that these rooms are all facing onto the construction site...
"I think this place does not deserve the negative reviews it gets. First, there are NO accommodations on the beach. It's a small island; almost everything is on a hill. Cleaning is only every 3-4 days or on request; this isn't a 5-star hotel! This is the ONLY truly Green Accommodation I have encountered; the owner deserves respect & gratitude for trying so hard against the wave of the non-caring. The staff is friendly; they are doing the best they can. The food is decent. The room was much more...

"Just left and had a great week!!! The two guys that mainly work the beach go the extra mile and are asset to the place!
We were a family of 4 in one room but plenty of room and all had super comfy beds. The rooms are bright and comfortable we had our own bathroom.
The restaurant serves a great selection of food and the all day a la carte breakfast was perfect!
The beach is beautiful and is fab for snorkelling and swimming. My kids did their Padi open water at the dive school next door which was also very good and convenient.
With out doubt the best spot on Tanote bay!!!

"I fell in love with the hotel. Its location was perfect, away from the city & night life noise, right on the beach, with delicious breakfast included, and most importantly only three minutes away from the Coral Grand Divers PADI office. The service was amazing. Drinks and snacks were included in the room bar, daily shuttle to and from the city. We forgot one of the backpacks in the shuttle when going to a different island, and they delivered it to us before we started boarding the ferry. I’d give them A+ and def would stay there again and recommend it to others. "
