the parking area is a bit scary and the elevator to the parking area is a nightmare because there’s only one lift and the wait could be long. self check in might be troublesome as the staff dont really give you complete information

Booked 2 bedrooms for 4 persons with sea view but given a city facing room instead. We arrived after 9pm then we had to go to their office in another building with our luggages to pick up the keys in a locker. Then we had to drag our golf bags across the road to the apartment. Hotels.com advised me to contact the property management at least 72 hours before arriving with the number given. I only managed to get hold of the person after several attempts. When I finally got an answer the person answering was not happy as he was having his dinner. I only managed to get a message in the morning of our stay with all the details of the check in procedure. The most annoying part was that I was told to deposit 200RM through bank transfer. I told him I have to Malaysian bank account. Then I was asked to put cash into the locker when we pick up the keys. I would never stay here again. Ever!

If you want a big room, S&S is a good start. For a fairly small amount of money, the room is spacious. The shopping mall downstairs is ok for lunch and dinner but even Starbucks doesn’t open until 10am. So no breakfast near. That’s all that’s good. Check in: unless you have internet connection, you’re stuffed. There’s no information on where to go, where to park or how to find the office. The deposit had to be in cash despite saying credit card on Hotels.com. The swimming pool was closed for maintenance. No explanation. The gym is residents only. The room was disgustingly unclean. Mould on doors. Ants all over the bed. Scuffed paintwork. Hairs in the shower head. I complained and was told they were fully booked so couldn’t clean properly?! I pointed out four other rooms available. They cleaned. A bit. More ants arrived. This time flying ones all over the bed. Even the curtains had disgusting brown stains and a rip in wallpaper had been hidden by a badly hung picture. Two person room, self catering. In the kitchen: one bowl. One glass. I complained. They removed the bowl all together. Put in a second glass. There are so many options in KK. I’d avoid this one.

No access to gym, wall outside apt.dirty had to direct staff to clean, shower had some cracked tiles, dirty curtains, sliding door to balcony lock not working- secuity risk, no safe deposit box in suite, no card access to office level on floor 3 had to call & staff not responding to call or text, no cutlery minimal dishes/pots/pans, wall paper by bed missing-sort of covered by mounted picture, no english TV channels, poor soundproofing constantly hearing elevator ring/beep and suite on flight path of airport Great location, good price, helpful staff when able to speak with

I liked the fact that it was an apartment. However, part of wanting an apartment was to cook some of our own meals etc.. there was no stove, very little kitchen supplies to cook food (almost none). Then the place was hardly cleaned, a five minute pop in the empty trash was about all. We had a couple air conditioners leak and break and was unclear if they were going to be fixed because communication was so poor. The bedding had stains on it from previous visitors, and was never changed. The kids pool was closed (and had been since October) with no sign of opening. I could go on and on.. we WAY overpaid for what was promised.

Feedback on my stay from û9 to 11Nov18
We were at Loft E and getting to/ from apartment was complicated as access to apartment had to be made via Fourth floor carpark as we were arriving by car. We had to lug luggages up stairs which was most inconvenient. We had two physically challenged friends which made it more difficult in the absence of ramps. I noticed that there is a lobby entrance to Loft E from street level. Why were we not allowed to use this entrance? Can I suggest that you do not accept bookings for physically challenged individuals. Room light and aircon switches are located at inconvenient locations. Sliding door to the balcony could not be locked. As access to apartment require card keys we were given only one set of keys, which was very inconvenient.

You have to contact them before you arrive. The room is very bland. It is clean and fairly comfortable. I would not come back and find a more conventional hotel. The location is good if you like malls.

wonderful location
my only complaint was that the site said they had transfers they do not. The apartment was wonderful, clean, spacious, wonderful view, quiet and there was a large shopping centre below the apartment. The shopping centre also had a level for entertainment, which our children enjoyed.

BEST RESIDENCE EVER
I brought a gel-type roach killer because I became worried after reading all those reviews about roaches. I haven't seen even one cockroach. However, I saw an army of ants after dropping and leaving a piece of durian on the floor, which means there ain't no roaches (roaches don't live in places with ants). Staff provided luggage storage service for free, and everything was kept nice and comfortable. Pool (available on 3A floor), which I used three times during my stay of four nights, was also amazing with nice views. In short, I fuxxing loved this place.

Air-conditioner issues
The unit that we stayed in had two rooms. The air-conditioner in one of the rooms only worked for about 15 minutes before it died upon us. We called the technician to our room to get it fixed, but we were told that the two units of air-conditioners in the two rooms were sharing one unit of compressor. What a horror! We spoke to a lady at the Reception about this issue but her reply was that she is unable to solve this issue for us and the best we can do is to highlight this to Hotels.com so that her management can be informed of a bad review and do something about it.

Great location - difficult to find!
Great location, attached to the Mall, however the apartment is old, old furniture, clean bedding though. It is very difficult to find and locate anyone to help you. You need mobile access to be able to call someone to come and meet you, even then it is difficult. Nice people though.

Location was excellent. Check-in instruction was TERRIBLE! We received their welcome message after confirmation but they did not advise proper check-in procedure. Address on confirmation stated Loft A...Reception and collection of keys were in Loft A, but our penthouse 3-BR condo was in Loft B. So, upon arrival, we unloaded all our 8 luggages at Loft A! The staff who was assigned to take us to the unit took us to the wrong unit and we had to carry all our luggages round and round the 2 building blocks! He should have done his homework first to locate our unit whlist awaiting our arrival...instead of 'punishing' the customers! Check-out staff upon feedback given to her - she was so defensive and impolite. Air -conditioning in 1 of the bedroom was faulty. Lighting in the rooms were insufficient. Few of the power sockets were faulty. We will NOT return to this condo - so many other choices available nowadays. We paid premium price but obtained mediocre quality / value.

Great apartment with a lovely pool and gym
We stayed in a 3 bed apartment which was clean and very spacious. It had kitchen faculties and washing machine. Also very effective aircon and fans. All the switches are clearly labelled in terms of which operate which device which was helpful. Beds were comfortable. All residents have access to the pool which is large and generally pretty empty - and to the gym. The apartments are above the IMAGO shopping mall where you can get food etc. It's only 5 mins in a taxi to Jessleton pier. Very good value compared to hotel prices in central KK. The only thing that needs improving is the arrangements for check in and out. We were told that someone would meet us in the lobby of the appartments but waited quite a while and we weren't really given any information about the apartment. It seems as though it relies on a friend of the owner to hand out the keys. Similarly we had some issues with checkout as no-one came at the agreed time and we ended up having to leave the keys in he post box to avoid missing our bus.

convenient location but need improvement
convenient location as it link to shopping mall and can buy some grocery if you are staying longer period. staff is friendly and helpful. Aircon doesn't work very well for master bedroom. That's ok. The disappointing part is cleanliness. Fridge has some foul smell, we have to clean it to clear the smell. Sofa has stain and dining table, chair and bedding not very clean as well. Toilet also not very clean and flushing system has bit issue. But if you are ok with all these, it's still worth to stay due to good location.

Very disappointing. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was described to have 2 bathrooms. However the second bathroom was a powder room with a shower head installed right above the toilet bowl. The second room was an extension partitioned behind the kitchen. It looks like a single bedroom unit had been transformed to a 2 bedroom type. After much discussion, I had to ask for an upgrade (not even offered one) to a room with 2 real bathrooms for the 4 of us. The unit itself was new, clean and spacious with necessary appliances and nice lounge sofa. The airconds however did not blow cool air and switched off after a couple of hours. Lighting in the bedrooms and bathrooms were dim. For better hygiene, shower soap and shampoo dispenser should be installed instead of providing big bottles which have been used by previous occupants. Outside of bathroom ventilation windows should be cleaned. Location is good as the apartment is in a shopping mall. Overall it's a 2 or 2.5 over 5.

Our stay was overall a great experience. This particular unit was well prepped for six guests and loved that they provided things such as shampoo, body wash, a washing machine and also detergent! And of course, the biggest upside was that it was right above a shopping mall and also a great restaurant that stays open till quite late (Souled Out).. a few negatives though (but definitely fixable - just call property management): 1. P1 internet we initially had was terrible, couldn't even connect. 2. Water heater in the second toilet was not working properly - water would either come out super hot or super cold. 3. Lots of tiny black beetles! Not a big issue but something we noticed. Not that much to complain about as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with the 3 small kids. Would definitely come back.

A very nice and new apartment to stay it is quite new so every facility is new too... we stay at this apartment for 4 days 3 nights with a family of 6 and my kids love to go for shopping just few steps away to the ground floor and internet wifi is fast, since we stay here we prefer to cook on our own but no rice cooker provided and I request to the owner and he buy for us a brand new rice cook make us happy and thank you very mush to the owner. It's our plesant stay here at your apartment. Will recomend to my friends and sure we will stay here whenever we come to Kota Kinabalu for family vacation

AMAZING STAY!!!
The vacation condo was not only spacious, the facilities and design all look so modern, just the perfect one to get! I am usually quite conscious with the cleanliness of studios I rent, as I have come across unsatisfactory ones, but this did not disappoint me at all. One thing that I could not forget from the stay was the beautiful eco deck which gave us stunning views. The owner, Nicholas is great too! He was friendly and kind, being helpful at many times. Not to mention he is multilingual too, making communication so much more easier! 10/10 would come back again!

5 Stars in overall, must recommend to others!!!!!!
Located in the most convenient area (inside the best shopping mall (IMAGO) in Kota Kinabalu plus great local restaurants, bistros and places to chill nearby). 5 star standard hotel with good facilities. Friendly staff that can help us in everything! Thanks a lot! Great seaview and there were free fresh local fruits prepared for us in the hotel too. Definitely will choose to live here during my next visit in Kota Kinabalu again! Highly recommended to others! and lastly THANK YOU for providing such good accommodation and services!!!
