This waterfront bazaar with an international feel is packed with interesting shops, great restaurants and fascinating museums.

Known simply as TST to its residents, Tsim Sha Tsui is one of Hong Kong’s wealthiest areas. Located to the south of the Kowloon peninsula, the district is a mix of five star hotels, high-rise buildings and upmarket shopping centres.Nathan Road (also known as the Golden Mile) is a treasure trove of brand-name shops, smart boutiques and independent market stalls. You can get everything from electronics to diamonds to tailor-made clothing along this endless stretch. There are also plenty of upmarket shopping centres nearby.Harbour City holds the title of Hong Kong’s biggest shopping centre, with over 450 different stores inside. If it’s designer goods you’re after, look no further than Canton Road. It’s just a short walk away from Nathan Road and home to both Chanel’s flagship Asia store and an enormous Louis Vuitton. If you need a break from the shopping and have worked up an appetite, head to one of the many bars, cafés and restaurants that line the waterfront at Victoria Harbour. For some great views of Hong Kong’s iconic skyline, head over to nearby Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade. Don’t miss the colonial-era Clock Tower at one end. Tsim Sha Tsui is conveniently located near to a number of the city’s cultural attractions, including the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Hong Kong Space Museum. The area is also home to some of the city’s five star hotels, many of which offer incredible views of the harbour. The easiest way to get to Tsim Sha Tsui is from the Star Ferry Port, or by taking the metro to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station.
